“Well, I know one thing you’re going to do. You’re going to be at my birthday party in a week,” I say.

“And mine a week after that,” Tiana says. “Maybe the four of us could stay up until midnight the night before my birthday,” she says nervously.

There’s still the slight chance that we’re not fated mates, but I just don’t see it. After talking to Cole, he said Cassie’s scent became even more mouth–watering when he turned eighteen and at midnight on her birthday, everything snapped into place. I expect that in two weeks, that will be the same for me and Tiana, and I can’t wait.
