"Milo listen to yourself. Do you even understand what you're saying?"

"I understand that I love you and I want you to be safe. Austin, he's been treating you like shit since that time of our shift tests when we were younger. He's only going to hurt you more Chance I'm thinking of nothing but you."

"He won't hurt me," after everything he said only him bad mouthing Austin made me want to respond.

"He's been doing it!"

"No," I pushed him out of my way only to be slammed back agaisnt the tent wall. I looked up him in anger, I can't believe I was so worried about him and he comes back saying crap about Austin to make me change my mind. "Move."

"Chance he doesn't even love you like I love you. Does he even love you at all?"

"Yes...maybe... I- he'll tell me I believe..." I stutter trying to prove Milo wrong but failed. The question was so hard to answer, that's what I wanted to ask austin, did he love me? He had to have a liking to me since he did kiss me, right?

"No, haven't you notice he only took interest in you because he saw I kissed you back then? If he wouldn't have saw that he probably wouldn't have even bribed you to choose him-" my reflexes moved on their own in anger, my hand colliding with milo's face in anger and disbelief.

"Shut up! What do you know?! He didn't bribe me!! He's only been making sure I don't try to do anything stupid while worrying over an idiot like you!! The entire time when I wished I could trade places with you or kill myself Austin was there keeping me from doing it! He cared so much he even told me, he gave me the chance to choose! There is no way he would ever...-" my body was lifted from the ground and thrown over Milo's shoulder as he walked out of the tent shifting and dragging me to the opposite forest they left in search of for Milo. "Let me go!"

Milo shifted back once we were deep into the forest dropping me on the snow patted ground. He paced back an forward in anger. I scooted back, my back reaching a thick log. He turned to me in anger, "How can you take up for that bastard?! I was there for you! I was the one who took the liberty of wanting to die for you! It would have been better if I did! He wasn't even there yet you- you pick him?!"

Nothing but guilt and and sadness ran through me, I shouldn't have lost my anger with him. I shouldn't have... "No one told you to protect me..."

"No one-" he laughed those words out as if he couldn't believed I said then. "No one told me to fall inlove with you either yet I did but I see that means little to you."

"It doesn't -"

"I do and I'm really sorry..." milo's cold hand slid up my shirt brushing against my skin. Immediately I felt a strong disgust run through my viens.

*Austin POV*

I hurried back pushing open chance's tent, the dark room and foul scent sent me into panic. Where the hell was chance? I thought maybe he could be with Silas but... I inhaled again smelling milo and the xylouris scent. He had to take chance, he just had too. I ran from the tent over to Silas's only to find forrest and him talking. They looked up at me, worry spreading all over their faces noticing my expression. Silas stood from his bed walking over to me, "What's wrong?"

"Where's Chance!?" I roared in anger.

"What do you mean where? He's in his tent asleep..." I shook my head in panic turning on my heel as they began to follow me. I scurried off hurrying to shift into my wolf. I panicked starting back at his tent picking up his sweet faint trail of his butterscotch scent. The xylouris and Milo's scent blend into it leading into the forest. I ran my snout over the snow continued to sniff it out as they followed behind me picking up the scent to. The original butterscotch scent grew stronger yet it got facade by another familiar scent, a pheromone scent... Quickening my pace I was clouded by the pheromone, it was suffocation yet hypnotizing. My heart constancy was was off as I looked at the body curled up in the snow. I shifted out of my wolf seeing Chance trembling in fear, he is clothes were torn as little bruises were spread on him. The blood in the snow nearly made me faint as the others took my side.
