"Never-mind," Chance quickly put his head down on the table sighing deeply.

"Chance, you don't have to force yourself to do that if you don't want to..."

"But that's the problem." he turned to me, his eyes watery as he was on the verge of crying, "I want to." He paused, his curls falling into his face. He started to tremble with fear and guilt and then I knew he was thinking of Milo. "But, how can I deceive someone who risked their life for me?"

"Chance, I won't tell you that you're over thinking it, nor will I tell you what you're doing is wrong or right because, you have every right to question these things. Only you can have that answer to those questions. You get to choose, it's your choice."

"That's the problem, ever choice I make ends up being a disaster..." He closed his eyes sobbing silently as I pulled him into a hug, I hated it. Why would Milo leave? Didn't he know it was already hard enough for Chance to tell him that he wanted Austin? I sighed trying my best to soothe Chance, with one little false push, Chance could break, and Austin knew that and Milo did too. Those idiots. "I just wish that... he was here..."

"Who?" I asked almost in a faint whisper trying not to be so loud. A small snore came from Chance who had just cried himself to sleep. I ruffled his hair gently before picking him up and heading back to his tent, All I could hope for was that they find him.

*Chance's POV BTW*

I sat up confused, my eyes roamed around a dark tent when I remember sitting in the dinning tent with Silas. I stared at the smoke that secreted through the cracks of the woods that were partially burned. Knowing it was a bad idea, I stood from the bed getiing ready to exit out of the tent. Hoping that maybe Silas was still asleep or maybe even in his tent I would get my chance to leave. I wanted my answer now, I can't wait til Austin gets here to find out I just couldn't. I pulled back the tent curtain only to get knocked off my feet by a tall figure. "Oww..." I rubbed my lower side still feeling a bit bruise before looking up.

The figure standing in the way face was blocked by the darkness, the only visiable thing was the moonlight shining the shape of him. But with just that I knew who it was, my body began to tremble with fear and guilt also in relief. I tried to stand, I screamed at my legs in my head to do so but I couldn't I just couldn't. My mind wanted to stand, my legs didn't they just trembled along with the rest of my body. "Chance," Milo walked over to me pulling me to my feet, "sorry are you okay?"

"What do you mean by that?"

"I set up 5 different scent trails that they could be following so by the time they find the right one I'll be done with what I needed to do. Chance come with me."

"What...?" Milo moved forward making my back press up against the tent wall. He cupped my face between his hands roughly pressing his lips to mine. I whimpered a bit as he started to move his lips over mine, my palm found his chest pushing him back.

"Don't cry please. Just join the xylouris with me, we need to leave now." I looked at him confused and stunned. He moved closer enclosing the space inbetween us as I realized the scent on him was aphiliated to the xylouris. "It's perfect, we'll be able to be together without those stupid idiots clouding us. We'll fit right in, they could actually help you learn to shift and we-"
