"I was-" his hazel eyes were completely clouded in fear tearing at my heart. I quickly got off puling the cover up and tucking him in, "-just putting you to bed... Yeah...ha...ha..." the laughs nervously escaped me while I moved back stumbling over the tribal belt. I growl inwardly picking it up an looking back at Chance's face that was stricken with sadness. I moved back over kissing him on the forehead, "I'll be back soon just rest until then, later." I was eager to get away from the scent before I went crazy again but, a tug my arm pulling me down to face the caramel skin boy stopped me.

"Later..." he whispered clearly wanting a kiss, or even...more!? No, that wasn't possible... I don't think it will ever be. I bent over a bit more to give him a quick peck on the lips until the insane voice slapped into my head. 'Break up with Chance,' I quickly moved back feeling my lips barely brush against Chance's. He must have noticed it due to him sitting up quickly staring at my distance from him. I couldn't kiss him, I told myself. Not with these dirty lips. "Austin?"

"Sorry,... I have to go- later." Faster than ever I raced out of his tent wanting to shift into my wolf state and run all the way to the river but I knew I couldn't. However, I just scrubbed my lips with the back of my hand. My heart tangled, twisting into an unforgivable knot when I saw Levi smiling pleasantly.

"Did you tell him? Hm? That you Cheated on him during the 'gather' hour?" my face completely flushed only making this harder.

"I didn't cheat on him!" I continued to walk, passing him up. This bastard was really fucking persistent. I heard footsteps shuffle behind me in the snow, "Go away before I rip your spinal cord out!"

"Why won't you tell him about us? Instead of wearing his scent as a cologne?"

I wanted to at least try waiting up for him, he did say he'll try and come back early right? Even so, I never heard anything about this get together nor have I even spoken to the tribe chief here yet. I probably shouldn't, knowing that they were already aware of me, how I lacked in everything of a werewolf, but as a human... I'm pretty sure I would fail too. Standing from the bed, I tried to shove pass the negative thoughts. I knew if I started thinking to far...I would remember and freak out, and believe me, I was tired of myself freaking out already. There's more to life than my past, I whispered trying not to let anything hold me back. If so, maybe my hatred and sadness could have been one of the reasons why I couldn't shift?

Walking over pass the ashed to the where the pile of wood should be laying, a sigh roughly escaped my lips. Either I wait with not fire, knowing I would die for freezing to death, or go into the cold and fetch it. Grabbing the jacket that rested on the footer of the bed and placing on a pair of snow slipper, I headed out the tent. Like an idiot, I waited till the cold had nearly drained me of my warmth to place the jacket on, and the slippers were already frozen over. At night everything looked completely different, even though I've been out here at this time before I hadn't noticed. The silky moonlight causing the snow to look blue or a darker shade of it. The howling of winds and wolfs filled the air followed by my shuffling through the snow. The wind was more forceful than normal, it was picking up snow and throwing it around every, for instance, the trees, tents, things that rested on the ground, and even me.
