I wiped my tears with the back of my hand as I sat there for awhile longer, just staring blankly at the curtain entrance. Why did Milo have to apologize? He should have just left me to think I hated him. And something I said ticked Levi off, sending Milo to rush after him. And again, they left me alone in this tent. I wonder, what Austin is thinking, or doing. I've been sitting here for more than two hours, the sun it self was dimming. Was Austin looking at the sun to? Was he worried out of his mind? Did he even know... where I was?

I stood walking to the entrance as I was knocked off my feet by an anxious Milo who clearly didn't mean to. "Sorry!" He apologized lifting me up as I lifelessly nodded. This was the only thing I could do best, pity myself and cry. "Chance, we need to leave now!!"

I looked up at Milo confused, you shit. You're the one who brought me here. I sighed not caring as he dragged me out the tent, pulling me through the snow as my tears froze on my cheeks. He pulled me in some weird direction as he stopped going into a different tent then coming out quick with a blanket that he wrapped over me. A slight smile crept on my lips but faded as my lips cracked from the cold air. I licked over my lips following him.

"Where... Exactly are 'we' going?" I asked. I was already at my limit; I wanted to see Austin and hugged him tightly. I needed to apologize to him for being a terrible mate.

"There's this mountain cave up north, not to far from here but the stream around it will cover our scent-"

"Not to be a complete dick but, I... just want to go back to Austin already." I frowned.

Milo nodded understanding, "I know," he sniffed, "But I have to get you far away from Levi at the moment..." I nodded not understanding but I still couldn't get Austin from my mind.

My bare feet shuffled through the snow, causing me to shiver every once in awhile. I was warm under the soft bear fur blanket, its was cozy. Kind of... reminded me of Austin’s fur, oh the warmth he could give me...

"I never should have left the tribe... the pack..." Milo stated breaking the silence. I jumped a bit but relaxed, I was still somewhat afraid of his touch and what he could do to me. That, I couldn't just forget and forgive easily.

"Well, we all make mistakes, I just constantly cause them." I mumbled.

Milo shook his head in defense, "No, Chance its just you got to stop thinking negative about yourself all the time. If you had a positive view on life it would have been better-" I bitterly chuckled at his comment cutting him off as he frowned. "Sorry..."

"Well you should respect him a lot more, he's a great guy," I smiled giggling a bit as Milo's face twisted in disgust.

"Nah, I'm good."

"Thanks." I smiled as I followed him still.

We came across this snow mud path that was frozen over as trees were scatter every where in front. Geez, I hated forests. They always meant the journey was going to be long. And not to mention, this was a forest on a hill that flowed into a mountain where, the air level is close to below freezing.

I practically dug my feet into the snow as we walked up the hill, the platform of my feet already frozen and numb that I didn't know if I were walking or not( of course Milo was pulling so I knew). Thanks to the blanket, the wind that was soaring through the the faded green leafs and between the trees didn't phase my body at all. But my face, that was nearly ready to drop due to the cold. My warmth was stripped from me as my body erupted with Goosebumps signaling me to find heat if I wanted to live. I bit my chapped lip in, licking over it as I tried to suppress the thoughts in my head.
