Milo made a sharp turn, which was still on the edge as his claws fought to catch grip, which soon he did as the wolves behind ended up knocking each other off, falling, or making it. Milo came to an brutal stop as he nudged me to get off which I did shaking to my bones as I stared past his fur and into his eyes. He nudged me to run as I nodded and did so, but looked back as he faced the wolves, lowering to an intimidating level as he snarled as he ran straight into them, instantly fighting some, and those ignoring as they only paid attention to Levi's order and kept coming after me.
I turned back, running with all my might. My feet smacking dead against the ground repeatedly as I tried not to fall. On the other side of the stream, the Pylorics tried to find a way over here, but myself, I wasn't sure if there was a way even over there. Slowing down as my breathing grew haste, and my lungs exhausted, I panted coming to an stop as I held onto the wall clench my side that started to cramp up. Yes I know, out of shape I was.
I looked in front finding the end of the line near anyways as I knew the wolves were charging behind me. I glanced down, as the stream was even rougher this way, considering the sharp turn it was going to be making. I gulped due to my time running out. It could be deep, then it couldn't be, either way, the water had to be as cold as ice and- I jumped.
I soon regretted as the cold air smacked me first, then the cold water, as the smack sound caused from the water and my body trying to collided, left me with only a burning stingy painful sensation. I held my breath, well the close to last one I had, as shivered in wet coldness finding my self-sinking, instead of floating back up. Near the end to try to breath, I flapped my arms around as my body tumbled under the water as the heavy current pulled me along. My foot scrapped against the edge of the stream as I forced my self up and out of water taking a painful gush of air, and was forced back down as my body smacked against the rock-like edge, scrapping my skin as I gave up my air releasing an army of bubbles.
I flailed my arms, trying to find the right side up as I was fighting water that pushed me the direction of the flow, and deeper into the water away from air. It was impossible for my to get up, due to base level of the steam being so far from my reach, I’m not sure I even knew if it was close or not. I might drown for trying to figure it out.
"Move!!" Forrest yelled smashing some wolf in the face before he threw them off the edge and into the water. It was horrible. In addition, Levi just stood there grinning watching everyone, his army and the plyorics destroy each other. The stream, filled with bodies as it washed them down with the current, some grabbing for land, and most using it to their advantages to kill others. I shifted, running down, following the stream as I looked around frantically. Where was he?! He was here, why isn't he here now!?
I ran faster, losing hope as I scanned the heavy current only find familiar and unfamiliar figures in the way. I shifted back, pulling out some of the pylorics tribe members who had been fighting to get out alive, but were being held back due to the xylorus pulling the back in. I dragged them to surface, one after the other as I continued to still scan for him. I move farther down the stream searching as the splashes of the water onto the stones, and the screaming of Death from the wolves echoed in my ears.
