Jeremy walked into Fred's office and gently nudged his shoulder.

"Hey, man." Jeremy grinned, sitting on Fred's side of the table, with his feet still on the floor and he folded his arms across his chest.

"Hi. Wait-" Fred quickly finalised what he was working on before averting his attention to Jeremy.

"Guess what?" Jeremy seemed really excited to say whatever he had to say.

"Just say it. You know I wouldn't bother to guess." Fred replied in a stern manner.

"You wouldn't believe that my girlfriend is Freya Winter, Jayda's best friend." Jeremy announced.

"Wow, I'm so amazed by that." Fred said sarcastically. "If that's all you have to say, you can leave now."

"You're so rude. I guess Jayda will be more excited to hear about this from Freya than you, moron." He huffed then left his office.

Fred didn't look up at him till he angrily slammed the door, permitting Fred to laugh.

Fred had a load of work to do tonight. He knew that he was going to be late before he got home tonight so he needed to tell Jayda.

He called her phone number then she answered it immediately, as if she was expecting his call at that second.

"It's so obvious that you miss me. You didn't even let a second pass before you answered the call." He teased, grinning from ear to ear.

"Whatever. I wanted to call you anyway because Freya was tryna force me to do that. You wouldn't believe that Freya and Jeremy-" He cut her off because he already knew what she had to say.

"I know, I know. Jeremy just told me that now." He rolled his eyes.

"Okay." She said disappointedly, disappointed that she wasn't given the opportunity to break the news to him.

"Anyways, I wouldn't be able to come home early. So you should sleep on time and not wait for me. If it's too late, I'll stay in the office apartment, okay?" He informed her.

"Oh, that's quite sad. Anyways, I'll wait for you. I love you." She smiled.

Freya poked her teasingly and she slapped Freya's hands off her.

"Thanks for understanding. I'll miss you." He grinned. "I love you too." He blew a kiss into the phone.

"Get back to work now." She ordered.

"I hope I don't miss you too much. I'll try to not miss you by remembering that I'm stuck with you forever. Damn, I'm so lucky to have found you. We were just destined to be together, forever, till death do us apart." He smiled.

"Enough with your story and get to work."

"Bye."

"Bye." She said then ended the call because he wasn't ready to do that. He still wanted to hear her voice more.

Little did Fred know that someone had walked into his office without knocking because he was too distracted by what he was working on.

"Hello," he flinched when he heard that familiar voice as she stamped her palms on the table.

Every muscle of his face squeezed intensely to form a frown when Adalyn was right in front of him. How the hell was she even entering his office anytime she wanted?

"What do you want?" He replied with a stern look.

"You can be less rude when you're talking to me." Adalyn smirked, puffing her chest.

Adalyn was wearing a very short violet dress that ended a few inches below her butt and it advertised a very large portion of her cleavage. Her hair was neatly packed into a donut shape and secured firmly with a hair band.

"Are you mad?! I said, what the hell are you doing here?!" He yelled. With all guns blazing, he rose to his feet. He didn't like raising his voice or insulting women but Adalyn was an exception to him. She had no shame at all.

"I'm sorry if I'm interrupting your work but–" she walked to him, swaying her hips in an obvious seductive manner.

"I suggest you leave here before things get out of hand!" He screamed again. She was making him foam at the mouth as he had flown off the handle.

Adalyn wrapped her arms around his neck, raising one of her legs upwards that her thigh was pressed against his side.

When he tried to reach for the office telephone to call the security, she quickly held his hand then tightly held his face, kissing him very roughly as she used his hand to hold her thigh that was pressed against his body.

The friends ate till their stomachs were so full.

"You're not leaving today, are you?" Jayda narrowed her eyes.

"Of course not. I'll definitely sleepover tonight." Freya slapped her shoulder playfully.

They cleared the table and did the dishes. The food they prepared was too much for both of them so there was still a lot left.

"What do we do with all this food?" Freya asked.

"I dunno." She shrugged, staring at the food but she had glazed over.

"Why don't you take it to Fred? He might probably be hungry and not be able to eat due to his work but he'll definitely eat if you take it to him." Freya suggested.

"That's a great idea. This is probably the first time you're using that dead thing called your brain." She joked and laughed at her own joke.

"Ha-ha, very funny." Freya hissed, not regarding Jayda's sentence as funny.

"Don't get all angry, I was just kidding." Jayda continued to laugh as she packed the food.

After she was done with it, she placed it in a bag then wore a long jacket because of the cold of the night.

"Be back soon, okay?" Freya said, yawning tiredly. She plopped herself to a couch then turned on the television, watching a new movie.

Jayda asked Mark to drive her to Fred's company. The drive seemed long because it was very boring but she got there eventually.

The people that were around her greeted her with respect, some just greeted her because they felt obliged to do so since she was the wife of their company's owner.

She didn't need the direction to his office because she already knew where it was. She tightly held the bag of food then jammed her free hand into her jacket pocket.

Jayda entered the elevator to his office floor. On getting there, she didn't care to knock on her husband's office door and just barged in.

The scene going on in front of her (Fred roughly kissing Adalyn with his hand on her thigh and the lower part of her butt was no longer covered by her dress). The shock in her made her drop the bag to the floor, causing the food to pour.

Fred and Adalyn flinched away from each other, trying to steady their breathing. Fred knew that he was totally done for.
