"What do you want from me?" Jayda glared at Fred.
"What's with you!" He raised an eyebrow at her.
"I was playing a super interesting game, I almost won it but then you suddenly hugged me and made me lose the game." She frowned.
"You're annoying." He also frowned. "So, you prefer some stupid game than your husband's love? You're so unbelievable." He got up from the couch then walked away.
Shit! She let her love for a game cause Fred to be angry at her. All she knew was that he couldn't be mad at her for a long time.
The doorbell rang then she growled before deciding to open it.
Fred walked out from the kitchen he had gone to when he heard the sound of the doorbell.
"Hello," she smirked at him then held his arm. He took his arm from her grip.
"You're so mean," she spat then opened the door.
Lo and behold, Dave Wicks, her awesome best friend stood by the now-opened door, wearing a very wide grin.
"Dave!" She screamed then jumped to hug Dave tightly.
"Oh my goodness." Dave laughed.
The moment Jayda hugged Dave, it made an electrocution occur inside Fred's head. He felt like he was going to explode. How could she just hug a man like that? Not like he was saying she couldn't hug a man but...
"I missed you so much." Dave spoke after she pulled away from the hug.
"I missed you so much as well." She was talking so energetically. Fred hadn't seen her take that energetic so it made a sense of jealousy tingle through him.
Dave pulled Jayda into another hug and Fred subconsciously pulled her way from the hug.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Fred frowned.
Dave looked confused amidst a smile. "W– what do you mean?" He questioned.
"Yeah, what do you mean?" Jayda repeated.
"How can you just hug some random man like that when– when your husband is..." he trailed off, not being able to make out a good point which made him seem like the dumb one.
"He's not some random man. He's my best friend. We've been friends since we were babies, as well as Freya." She grinned.
"Hm." Fred forced himself to nod positively.
"Cone on in, pal." Jayda said to Dave then slapped Fred's shoulders hard (she was so excited about Dave's presence that she didn't realise she did that), ushering Dave in.
"You have a very beautiful home." Dave said to no one in particular.
When Dave looked at Fred and Jayda wasn't looking, Fred shot him a glare which made Dave very confused.
They all took their seats on the sofas.
"What would you like to eat?" Jayda asked.
"Hm. Anything." Dave replied.
"You're going to cook for him? Willingly?" Fred was annoyed at that. He always begged Jayda before she cooked for him but here she was, voluntarily cooking for Dave.
"Yup." She said plainly then left for the kitchen.
"Uh... hi?" Dave said, smiling.
Fred sized him up. He looked very handsome and that made Fred even more angry.
"I think you're angry about something but I hope we get along."
"What's wrong with you today?" She asked, noticing his bad mood. She started to get out of her clothes.
"Nothing, okay?" He sighed.
"Okay, if you say so." She said and kissed his cheek.
Jayda tried to unhook her bra but it was difficult so she asked Fred for his help which he did for her.
"Why are you taking that off?" Fred asked.
"I want to take a shower as well." She smiled.
"You're so weird," he shook his head then got out of his clothes. She took her neatly folded towel then wrapped it around her body before leaving for the bathroom.
Fred changed his clothes then headed downstairs.
"Where's Jayda?" Dave asked immediately when Fred got to him.
"As you can see, she's not with me." He replied rudely but realised that it was too haughty so she sighed. "She said she wanted to take a shower."
"Oh, you should have said that first." Dave scoffed.
Jayda had her bath quickly then applied her body lotion, and her hair care. She got into her clothes, wearing a pair of small heart-shaped earrings before she went downstairs.
"Why did you have to take forever?" Dave groaned.
"You look very beautiful." Fred said, then held her back, kissing her lips gently.
"Thank you, love." She blushed.
They left in Fred's car.
