"Mr Maklaw is in a sexual relationship with his new secretary!" Stella screamed to the large room that contained a large portion of the staff of his office, each person having their own desk.

Stella was really bad at keeping things to herself and always wanted to let it out to a large number of people so she felt completely relieved after doing that.

Her announcement immediately caused noise amongst everyone of them, over the issue.

Jayda ran to her then thereafter Fred walked in, feeling that things were being taken over-dramatically.

"Stella, you're very stupid! " Jayda said, not caring that she was being rude.

"What? You're so shameless. Everyone knows Mr Maklaw is damn hot and to die for but we didn't force ourselves on him and kissed him like we own him." Stella snapped at her.

A lot of people still kept on mumbling and raising their questions.

"Firstly," Fred held Jayda's arm, pulling her to him then held her waist which earned gasping, giggling and muttering noises from a few people. "Jayda is my wife so that shouldn't be anyone's business, to those who don't know that." He clarified.

"Oh no!" Stella covered her mouth with her hand and shook her head. Her eyes grew wider when the realisation of what she risked hit her. What had she done now? She knew the people were right when they told her that her mouth which she couldn't keep shut was going to ruin her.

"Secondly, Stella, you're fired." He said boringly.

"Thirdly, nobody should interfere in my personal matters if it doesn't have anything to do with you or you'll lose your jobs." He said coldly.

Rather than feeling embarrassed, Jayda felt really proud and wanted to laugh about the facial expressions of the people around her.

"That was a close call, you could've been more careful." Fred teased. He didn't even feel embarrassed but was only infuriated that Stella couldn't keep her mouth shut for even a second. If she had a company secret to keep, was that how she was just going to blurt it out?

"I think I'll be attending a meeting soon, right?" He asked, putting on his serious look once more.

"That look of yours scares me to death," she admitted and he just chuckled.

There was a knock on the door then they stared at it before Jayda concluded that she was going to open it.

On opening it, Jeremy walked in then involuntarily looked at Jayda from head to toe like he was just seeing her for the first time.

"Good afternoon." She greeted him then he nodded his response and went to Fred, handing him a file.

"What's this for?" Fred asked, beginning to open it.

"You have to work on this, it's important. Bye, I have a lot of work to do." Jeremy cleared his throat then left the office.

"Jayda, you'd have to go home sooner than me because I still have a lot to do, okay?" He instructed.

"Okay." She agreed.

"Please take this and help me print it out." He gave her different papers. "Nothing must go wrong with them. They are very important. First, get me a very cold drink and a bottle of water. I'm dehydrated." He instructed.

Jayda nodded then went to get him what he asked for. She was starting to feel very tired which was pretty much unusual.

When she took out two glass cups, she almost dropped them. Everywhere seemed like it was zany.

She took the tray of water and a drink back to Fred's office.

"What's wrong with you?" Fred asked, noticing how tired she looked.

"I'm fine," she forced a smile. She didn't want to tell him that she was tired so he wasn't going to send her home.

Freya walked to them. She had received the information from Jeremy and since she was done with her work for the day, she came.

"What happened to Jayda?" She asked, first thing.

"I don't know. She just happened to pass out. We were working at the office, I asked her to get me juice and she spilled it all over some important papers and when she was leaving for her office, she passed out." He explained.

"That's really bad. Jayda," Freya frowned.

"What papers? Do you mean the ones I gave you yesterday?" Jeremy frowned.

"Yes, but that's not important." He massaged the sides of his head with his fingers.

"Fred, those were very important. We can't get them back. How could you have just let her spill some stupid drink on it?" Jeremy yelled.

"Let it be. I don't care about that. I'm only worried about Jayda so don't frustrate me further." He said angrily.

After a while, Doctor Claire came out with a smile on her face.

Fred rushed to her and held her hands. "Is my wife fine? Is she okay? Is she awake? Can I see her?" He asked all at once.

"It's okay." She smiled and that made relief wash over Fred. "She's been awake for a while now but we had to carry out some tests."

"Test? Why?" He furrowed his eyebrows. God please don't let her be an HIV positive patient or something, he internally prayed.

"Your wife is pregnant." She announced.

"P- pregnant?" He asked, he thought he didn't hear her well.
