"What do you mean by she's pregnant? My wife doesn't have a womb." He frowned. He thought Claire was playing games with him because it wasn't funny at all.
"Yes, she's four months pregnant." She informed him.
"Really? That's great news." Freya grinned. Every form of worry washed away and she was extremely glad. "Why would you think Jayda is barren?" She raised an eyebrow.
"I– I don't know. She told me that," he frowned, he felt so confused rather than happy.
"I guess she was too stressed out so she passed out but don't worry, it's completely normal." She assured him.
"– but we didn't even see any signs. She didn't have a morning sickness, or anything that gave us the sign that she was pregnant." He frowned.
"Not even the seizure of her period. It happens a lot. Different people have different bodies so she probably didn't know. It's totally normal. You have to register her for antenatal because she hasn't been taking the medications and foods she ought to be taking for the baby's good health, I think." Doctor Claire said.
"That's very weird but we'll register her for the antenatal. Can I see her now?"
"Yes, you can."
"Thank you," he muttered then ran to the hospital room Jayda was in.
"Pumpkin, hello." She waved at him.
A smile landed on his lips on seeing her. She looked tired but still very beautiful and he was extremely excited that she was carrying his child.
He sat beside her and pulled her into a hug.
"You're carrying my child?" He rubbed her stomach that was kind of flat. Jayda had noticed her stomach and body had increased a little but she thought it was because she was just getting fat due to staying at home all day. She had planned on going to a gym but instead decided to go to work.
"Jayda," Fred gruffed.
"What?" She said in his chest, trailing her fingers along his chest and neck while fiddling with his shirt button.
"Why did you tell me you didn't have a womb?" He asked.
"No reason, I just wanted to see your reaction." She chuckled in his chest.
"It's not funny at all. Don't you know it made me kinda sad. I wanted our children to be from you but I didn't want to hurt your feelings in any way and promised to love you without your womb. I was even going to adopt a child for your sake but you just lied to me." He frowned.
"I'm sorry." She hugged him tighter. "Thank you," she said then raised her head to kiss him.
"I love you." She said then kissed him again.
"You're so dumb." He hissed then gave her forehead a slight knock.
"You're a dimwit." She got up from the couch of the second living room; she had laid on it with her head on Fred's lap.
"You're not going to control me. I'll work with 'Sam's and Yiks' if I have to." She was about to storm her way to their room but he held her wrist, automatically halting her movement.
He hugged her from behind and kissed her again.
"Do you remember our honeymoon? You were to grant me three requests," he smirked. "I just remembered that I only used two out of three so I'm using the last one now. You are not working until I say so, honey." He kissed her forehead.

Jayred were going to the hospital today, for an ultrasound, to know the gender of their baby. Jayda was anxious and curious to know but Fred wasn't feeling anyhow but excited. He was only going to be more happy if it happened to be more than one baby in her stomach.
Fred wanted to come up with a name for their baby already.
A doctor that wasn't Doctor Claire was going to be the one available for Jayda's ultrasound.
When the doctor was done with it, she told them that they were expecting a baby boy. Jayda was very happy about it.
On their way home, they bought more things for the baby, knowing the baby's gender already.
