A Few Days Later
"Of course, I'm freaking excited!" Freya exclaimed.
"I'm very glad to hear that." Jayda smiled. "I'm sorry I can't be your best lady. It's always been my dream to be your best lady but I can't do that because of my pregnancy and other stress that is currently bound to me." She pouted.
"No problem, sweetheart." Freya pulled Jayda into a hug, not too tight because of her bump.
"Did you know that Fred is Jeremy's best man?" Freya beamed.
"Seriously?" Jayda replied boringly. Freya nodded in response.
"Aren't you happy about that?" She slapped Jayda's shoulder playfully.
"Happy about what? I don't understand what type of work he's been doing that he only came home once since about forever. The day he came home, it seemed like he was forced to do so and was trying to avoid me, kinda." She frowned.
"He didn't tell you exactly what's bothering him?" She asked.
"Of course not." She was getting more angry. "This was one of the reasons why I didn't want to go deep in this contract marriage. I planned on getting divorced from him in nothing more than four months after our wedding until Mom and you convinced me to 'make the marriage work'." She rolled her eyes, air quoting the words with her two fingers of each hand.
"It is working out. You just need to be patient with him." Freya encouraged her.
"I made sure to read the contract and the idiot didn't even state anything about me not getting divorced from him so I should've done that right away. Look who forced me to love him and... hey, I'm already pregnant with his child." She chuckled sarcastically. "If not for the baby, I'd have left him with this stupid act from him. Is he trying to frustrate me or intentionally killing me on the inside?"
"I swear if Fred is daring to think of leaving me for good and lets me suffer a harsh breakup once more, I'll kill him and make sure he regrets it for the rest of his friggin life!" She didn't realize that her jaw and fists were clenched until she started to feel a slight pain on her palms because of her fingernails excavating into them.
"Jayda!" Freya cautioned. "Please don't be too excrecating when you're talking about Fred. If not for the fact that he's your husband, remember that he's Axel's father, okay?" She pushed her lips forward with her eyebrows dabbed.
Freya gently squeezed Jayda's shoulders to calm her down then nodded in an encouraging manner.
"I'm sorry I was too vulgar." Jayda chuckled sheepishly.
"That's my girl." Freya teased, pinching her cheeks gently.
"Mom asked me to extend her greetings to you. She really wished she could come but tomorrow is the last stage of her surgery. If it's successful, she'll be healed completely." Hope and happiness glistened in Jayda's eyes.
"Mom will be fine, I'm sure of that." Freya smirked.
"God be with them." She prayed.
Jayda drove Samantha to the hospital then she wanted to leave for Freya's wedding after praying for safe surgery for her mother but Samantha didn't allow her yet.
After an argument, Samantha won then did a video chat with Freya who was getting dressed, praying for her and apologizing to her for her absence.

"I'm so happy. Words can't describe how joyful I am today." Jeremy said to Fred.
He noticed Fred's look. "Can't you try to be happy, what's with this gloomy face of yours today? Just save all the fear, doubt and everything else for some other time." He frowned.
"I'm worried." Fred sighed.
"Geez... man!" Jeremy groaned. He was already done with dressing and was about to head to the altar to wait for Freya.
"I'm scared of having to see Jayda today. How do I gain the courage to look at her in the eyes?" He palmed his face. He was having a serious headache again. He felt like he was dying on the inside and didn't know what to do. Was he going to leave Jayda?
