"Why would you ask me? If you can't trust your wife enough to tell her why the hell you're acting weird and really frustrating, why should I tell you what I need the money for?" She huffed and puffed. She prayed she was making sense because her words weren't sounding sensible to her hearing.
Fred let out a defeated sigh. "Okay. Don't forget to be safe. I already hired more security men so make sure you go out with at least five of them. A lot of them will be guarding the house. I'm thinking of hiring female ones who will watch over the inside of the house." He suggested.
"No way!" She snapped. "I don't need more of them, I'm very fine. That's a lack of privacy and comfortability if you hire more of them."
"Don't worry, it isn't. Just make sure you are safe and ensure that no harm comes to our Axel."
"Yes," she nodded, almost rolling her eyes.
"I'm glad you came over," Jayda hugged Freya.
"You're glad but you spent hours up there, doing what I don't think I care about, in your room while I was waiting my ass here." She rolled her eyes.
Jayda stepped away from the hug and sat beside her.
"I can see your bump is increasing," she smiled, referring to her belly. "Where exactly are we going?"
"Did you talk to Jeremy about Fred's behaviour?" She raised an eyebrow.
"Of course. He said Fred has truly been busy with work. He's too occupied and it's stressful so he hardly gets time to rest but works all day long." She shrugged. "I'm hungry."
"Yes. I ordered some Chinese food because I was craving it badly then I'll top it with some ice-cream and yogurt. The delivery person will be here anytime soon." She informed her.
"Okay, let me grab something else from the kitchen for the meantime." Freya winked.
"Wait." Jayda stopped her then held her left hand, accessing her ring. "This is extremely beautiful. I'm so happy for you, darling." She smiled.
"Thank you." Freya's face flushed red then she went to the kitchen, and took a bag of chips before returning to Jayda.
The delivery was already here so they ate till their stomachs were content.

After waiting for a while for their food to digest, they were set to leave.
"Are you sure you can drive well now?" Freya asked Jayda, scared about the idea of Jayda driving them.
"Of course I can. I already completed my driving school. I don't understand why Mark and Seth are hardly around when I need them to drive. I have a driver's license already, trust me." She winked then they got into the car.
Jayda drove gently and like a normal person which made Freya relax and have faith in her driving.
After a while, they got to Samantha's house.
"Good afternoon, mom." Jayda greeted her mother immediately when she opened the door. She could tell that her mother had lost a lot of weight.
"My sweetheart, how're you?" Samantha held her daughter's cheeks and kissed her forehead.
"I'm very fine." She smiled.
On getting home, Jayda parked her car in the garage but she noticed that a car was in the packing space.
"Is Fred back?" She said to herself then got out of her car.
She went to the car and realized that it was a new car. She rolled her eyes. Fred probably brought a new car again. She hissed then went in.
"Fred!" She screamed, unsure whether to feel sad, happy, angry or no emotion. "If you don't get your stupid self right here, I swear I'll kill you." She threatened.
Jayda got no response. Her internal calculation made her remember that the house was too big for him to hear her from wherever he was. She scurried up the stairs then to their room.
She changed into a neat nightgown that was free and not too tight for her stomach. She needed to go for maternity shopping very soon.
Her stomach grumbled so she went downstairs to source for anything she could eat.
After grabbing a bowl of strawberries from the kitchen and three red apples, she went to the living room.
"Hello, sweetheart." She was welcomed by that very familiar masculine voice.
Jayda's eyes snapped to the direction of the voice and her eyes met with none other than Charles. He was wearing a smirk on his face, with his hands folded across his chest and he was resting against the rail of the staircase.
Remembering that she was all alone with this bastard, she dropped everything she was holding to the floor.
"Don't worry, I won't hurt you. I just want to remind you that we have an 'Unfinished Business'." He advanced towards her.
