A Few Months Later

Jayda and Fred were done with the day's work. She had resumed working as his secretary and also as his wife.

"I'll be going shopping with Freya for her unborn child." Jayda informed him, arranging the neatly piled files into her office bag.

"Oh, okay." Fred nodded, keeping all the needed files in his briefcase. "Let's get going."

He held his briefcase then walked over to her, holding her waist then planted a kiss on her cheek.

"I love you so much." He said.

"Love you too." She smiled.

Jayda was glad she didn't make the decision to leave him. Fred had been nothing but amazing, caring, extremely loving and very supportive towards her. He always made her feel happy in every way.

They both left the office then got into Fred's car while Mark drove them home.

"Thank you." Fred appreciated, receiving the glass of orange juice from Jayda and gulped the chilled juice, typing on his laptop in front of him.

"Are you busy?" She asked the totally obvious, quirking an eyebrow at him.

"Busy? Do you want something?" He raised his eyebrow at her.

"I wanna talk but if you're busy, no problem." She smiled. The breeze from the open balcony dramatically blew her hair upwards like it did to the ladies in movies.

Fred was seated on one of the chairs in the balcony then he placed his laptop from his lap to the Spanish glass table in front of him and held Jayda's waist, making her sit on his lap.

"I can never be too busy for you. What do you want to say to me, darling?" He brushed a few strands of her hair from her face.

She blushed at how much importance he was giving her, like always.

Jayda placed her legs on either side of him, straddling him with her elbows on his shoulders. "I've been reading a lot of books and I also started writing one, secretly." She chuckled, caressing his cheeks with her fingers.

"Really?!" He smiled proudly.

"Yes. I want you to help me create a publishing company. I want to become a full-time writer and publisher, be able to sell my books and publish other Authors' books for free, and distribute it around the world." She explained.

Fred nodded at her words, smiling proudly at her. "I love the idea. Whatever you say. I'll do just that." He grinned, holding her waist in place.

"Really?!" She was beyond happy. She didn't think of it to be that easy. "Won't you get something in return?" She smirked at him.

"I'll definitely do what you want. I'll start the process by tomorrow or anytime you want and I'll advertise your company everywhere." He kissed her lips gently. "Yes, I want something in return. All I want is for you to love me endlessly."

"You're the best!" She connected her lips to his passionately.

"I love you so much and I'll do anything for you." He assured.

"I love you too, hubby." She grinned, pulling him into the call of her embrace.

"Are you still going over to Jeremy's? To meet Freya?" Fred asked.

"Oh, yeah! I almost forgot."

"Great, I can pay Jeremy a visit if possible." He laughed.

"Are you going to drive me there?"

"I'm not sure yet. I still have a lot of work to handle but I might try." He shrugged.

"No, no problem. You don't have to come if it's not convenient for you." She got up from his lap then headed to their room to get dressed.

Fred's phone rang and he picked it up from the table. A frown was quick to form on his face when he observed that the caller was none other than Mina.

Without hesitation, he terminated the call. Mina still called his phone about five times but he took the same action of terminating it. He was about to switch his phone off when he saw a message from her, Mina.

"Can you all not talk about my increase in weight?" She rolled her eyes and they all laughed.

"What are you here for? In a baby store." Jayda then dramatically held her chest, "you're having a baby?!" She gasped.

"Why didn't you tell us?" Freya added.

Dave laughed at them. "I'm not. I'm here to meet a friend."

"A friend that's the mother of your baby?" Jayda teased further and they both laughed.

"No, bro." He smirked, "just a friend."

"Just a friend, uh?" Freya squinted her eyes. "When exactly are you going to have a woman in your life, not just a friend. You aren't getting any younger, bro. Dave, you're already 28."

"So? My perfect woman hasn't come yet." He frowned, changing the mood.

The women noticed his change of mood at that so they changed the topic.

"We're here for Freya's baby shopping, you wanna join us?" Jayda beamed.

"I guess so." He smiled.

The trio kept on shopping for the baby of whose gender they hadn't found out.

Despite the fact that Jayda wanted to console herself, she couldn't help but feel sad about remembering Axel due to Freya's pregnancy. It brought a lot of memories of her late unborn child.

"Ah!" Freya suddenly gasped, dropping all the items she had in her hand to the floor and her eyes and mouth were widely open like she had seen the most shocking thing of her entire life.

"What?" Dave and Jayda rushed to her, holding her in place right before she almost fell to the floor.

"What happened, honey?" Jayda shook her slightly.

When they both noticed that Freya wasn't ready to speak and her eyes were fixed to a particular direction, they followed her eyes, only for then to notice that she was staring at a man. He was in a casual white button-down and black trousers. He wasn't even looking at them so they wondered what was behind the man that caused Freya's extremely shocked reaction.
