"Will you tell us what the hell is it with you?" Dave asked again, almost yelling.
Like Freya had been doing for the past twenty minutes they left the babies' store, remaining silent.
Dave had offered to drive them because she didn't seem to be in the condition to drive, definitely not.
"Please tell me what's wrong." Jayda asked in a very calm tone even though she was very eager to know the reason for her extremely weird reaction.
Freya didn't give them an answer but still had a shocked, anxious, angry and nervous look on her face; it was like the combination of different emotions.
Jayda didn't want to press any further. Freya wasn't the type of person to open up to you if you did it by force.
"Freya, it's really pis-" Dave continued but Jayda shunned him.
"Let her be. She'll talk when she's ready to." Jayda frowned..
"Oh, really?" He replied sarcastically.
"Yes, really. Please take us to a fancy restaurant. I'm starving." Jayda instructed.
"I just want to go home." Freya whispered, not looking at anyone.
"Nope, you're not. We all need to eat." She didn't give Freya the chance to argue so she just had to agree with her.
Dave pulled over by the nearest restaurant.
During the period of their meal and despite the fun things they did, Freya didn't bring herself to laugh, not even a smile.
"Won't you at least eat something?" Jayda frowned. Freya hadn't even taken a bite of the food in front of her.
Freya's face was totally pale and it was making Jayda get really worried.
"Please don't over-think things," Jayda held her shoulders, giving her a side hug, "remember that I'm always here for you to count on and share anything with, okay love?" She smiled encouragingly.
Freya held Jayda's hands and squeezed them. "I promise to tell you later, I just want to go home." She said in a whisper then Jayda nodded in understanding.
"I think it's best we take her home." Dave announced.
After paying the bills for their meal, Dave drove Freya home then Jayda made sure she slept and waited with her till Jeremy came back home.

"So..." Fred cleared his throat with a huge smile plastered on his lips. "What do you think about this place? Is it good enough or I should look for a new publishing company and whatever."
"Are you kidding me?" She playfully hit his shoulder. "I love it! Thank you so much." She hugged him then kissed him after pulling away from the hug. "I really can't believe I can finally be a writer and also help other writers." She stopped the tear drop that threatened to roll down her face by wiping it with her finger.
"I'm glad you love it. I also hired a few people then you can go on with the hiring of your other employees." He held her hands and kissed them lovingly.
Happy tears had choked her throat that she couldn't even talk so she simply nodded. "I love you so much." Happiness was an understatement to what she was feeling right now. She was at the peak of exploding in ecstasy.
She held a stuffed animal which she had especially bought for Axel, since it was going to be a young child's size. She hugged the stuffed animal to her chest as tears trickled down her face. She never imagined that the pain of losing a child you never saw was this strong. She was too attached with Axel and was anticipating for his arrival that she never saw the possibility of him leaving her for good.
"Jayda," Fred called, stopping by the foot of the door. He had been running around, looking for her. His smile dropped when he observed tears in her eyes; it made his heart melt in pain.
Jayda quickly threw the stuffed animal from her hand then wiped her tears with her fingers. "Oh, Freddy, hi?" She forced a smile.
Fred walked over to her then held her hands, pulling her into his embrace. "Don't cry again, I know you miss him, I do too. You have to understand that he'll forever be in our hearts and wouldn't be happy to see you crying over him." He pulled away from the hug then wiped her tears with his fingers.
Jayda nodded, sniffing in.
Fred held her hand then walked her to their room.
"I'll be in the shower. We should have dinner together then watch a cute movie and do other fun things tonight." He tried to lighten the mood with a smile.
"Okay." She muttered.
Fred grabbed his towels from his wardrobe then left for the bathroom.
Jayda was about to take a short nap till he was done but she was interrupted by the chiming of a phone from the bedside table.
She groaned before reluctantly picking the phone up and it was Fred's phone. "Freddy, you have a message from-" she stopped mid-sentence when the message popped on his phone's screen.
"Mina?" She frowned. Was Fred still keeping in touch with Mina? She wondered furiously. "You think you can ignore me. I said we have to meet urgently. It's very important. We need to talk." She carefully read the message out. "Meet? Why?"
