"Yeah. You see," Mina had a totally serious look on her face and it scared Fred the more. His heartbeat rate increased like crazy and he started sweating.
"You're lying!" He shouted.
"I'm definitely not. I sent his picture to your phone now, check it." She rolled her eyes.
Fred glared at her but still brought his phone to his face. His hands were vibrating as he unlocked it and saw the photo Mina just sent to him.
What in the world?! It was the picture of a boy child that looked so damn much like him; he had the same bright blue eyes, oval-shaped face, except that he had Mina's flat nose and black hair.
"No way!"
"Yes way, you moron!" She hollered.
"I don't believe you. This is all crap. How can I have a son from you?" He was looking everywhere in confusion, fear and pain.
"Are you this stupid? You don't believe that he's your son even though he looks a lot like you?" She rolled her eyes. "Fine, I'll send his DNA test result." She sent him the photo.
Fred's eyes fell to the floor when he saw the DNA test. The chance of him being the father of the child was 98.3%.
"How is it possible for us to have a son and you didn't tell me? And how the hell did you get a DNA test without my consent?" He drew his eyes in wonder.
"I didn't tell you because I didn't feel the need to. I kinda knew we were going to separate some day and I wasn't sure if it was your child at first so I gave him to my boyfriend then he took care of him even though he looked like you and shit shit shit, blah blah blah. Secondly, don't you remember that we lived in the same house? I plucked your hair while you were asleep, took your toothbrush and don't you remember when I helped you out with cutting your fingernails?" She rolled her eyes.
"Gosh..." he buried his face in his palm. "What do I tell my Jayda? She won't take this lightly." He shook his head.

Jayda got out of her car then placed her car keys in her clutch.
"Freya, gosh." She sighed before proceeding to ring the doorbell.
Like she was already expected to arrive at that second, Jeremy opened the door within a twinkle of an eye after he heard the doorbell.
"Jesus, I'm glad you're here." He placed his hand on his chest and sighed.
"Where's Freya?" Jayda asked immediately. "I can't believe this woman." She shook her head with a pout.
"Oh, she's in our bedroom." He opened the door completely, ushering her in and she stepped in.
"I think I'll give you guys some space so she can open up to you because her reaction is scaring and pissing me off." He frowned slightly.
Jayda nodded then patted his shoulder. "I'll try to get words from her mouth."
"Thank you so much, Jay." He ran his finger along his face then shook his head with a sigh.
Jayda led herself to their room then she opened the door without bothering to knock.
Freya was seated on the bed with a blank expression on her pale face. She didn't even notice that Jayda walked in and even shut the door behind her.
Jayda tiptoed to her then gently sat beside her. "Freya?" She called, making Freya flinch.
"Jay? What are you doing here?" She said in a whisper like she was going to get arrested for talking any louder than that.
"I should be asking what is wrong with you?" She placed her clutch on the bed and crossed her arms over her chest. "Who the hell is that man to you and why the hell has seeing him, caused you to act like this?"
Freya blinked multiple times than normal but no words came from her mouth.
After a few minutes of silence, Jayda finally spoke, "have you had anything to eat?"
"Calm down, honey." Jayda patted her back. "Why didn't I ever know about this?" She tried to hide the anger of the fact that her best friend didn't tell her all these years, with a supportive smile.
"I- I- I just couldn't." She stuttered. "I didn't want him to harm you so I always lied to you about my relationships." She buried her face in Jayda's chest. "I'm sorry,"
"Of course you should be." Both women flinched really hard with a squeak when Jeremy's deep voice shouted.
"Jerry?" Freya jumped to her feet and her hands were vibrating. "How- why- when- what..." she didn't even know what words to say.
Jeremy walked to then then pulled her into a hug, patting her head. "Why didn't you tell me?" He cupped her face. "I promise you that I'll do something about him. Austin will never harm our baby, you, or me, okay?" He kissed the tears that rolled down her cheek.
"I'm sorry for not telling you. I was very scared. Austin isn't just an easy person to deal with, he's extremely cunning."
"All you have to do is to trust me." He hugged her.
"I'm glad you talked. Anyways, I have to leave now, I have to attend to something very urgent." Jayda said, reading a message on her phone.
"Sure, thank you." Jeremy smiled. "I'm glad you came." He said then glared at Freya.

Fred was beyond confused. He couldn't seem to process anything or even think straight. He was so scared of facing Jayda once more and it hurt him so much. How could he have a child? His life was just so complicated.
Fred didn't even bother to go in his car and had ordered for it to be taken home. All he wanted was to drown himself with alcohol and walk down the streets with no thoughts running in his head.
Fred had been walking for a while and was ignoring the fact that his legs were hurting. He didn't take the risk of drinking while walking on the road so he just kept on walking, without any particular direction in mind.
As Fred was walking along a pavement, his eyes caught with what was going on right on the pavement across the street.
What Fred saw was the most shocking and heart-stabbing thing in the world; His very own wife, Jayda, was holding a stranger man's face tightly and kissing the hell out of him with his hand on her waist and the other squeezing her ass.
