"Oh, shit! I knew I shouldn't have trusted Doctor Claire. What do I do? Hide? Or go?" She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion before deciding to follow the sound of his voice.

She ran down the stairs then she noticed the back view of her husband. He was carrying something- or should you say, someone! The person had blood all over him.

Jayda rushed to catch up with Fred who kept yelling for help. On getting close enough to him, only to see her very own daughter, Ally. She was in his arms and was bleeding profusely.

Some nurses hurriedly came, running with a stretcher then they laid Ally on it, rushing back to an emergency ward with her.

Jayda and Fred ran behind them till they locked them out of the ward.

"What happened?" Jayda's eyes were already teary. She felt her heart ache as a pang of pain kept piercing into it.

"Jade," he cupped her cheeks, ignoring the bloodstains from Ally that were rubbed on her cheeks. "Ally was being so disobedient, then-then... she kept hitting me and biting me to leave her. She was running too fast and just happened to be hit by a car." He explained in a whisper.

"N–No!" Jayda exclaimed, shaking her head negatively. "Nothing must happen to my Ally or you'll pay for it, gravely."

"Jayda! Fred!" Freya, Dave and Jeremy called their names, running towards them. "What happened? How did Ally get hurt?"

Fred wasn't ready to speak to anyone. He was sprawled lazily on the floor then palmed his face. "It's sad." He sobbed.

"More of, it's your fault!" Jayda barked then they all gave her a suspicious look. "What?" Her entire face was flooded with tears. "My daughter had been in there for God-knows-how-many minutes. And, it's all of Fred's fault." She screamed, crying loudly.

Freya hugged Jayda who was seated on a chair, resting her head on her bumpy stomach.

After a few minutes......

A Doctor came out of the ward, taking off his gloves and approached them. They immediately acknowledged his presence and stood to meet him.

Fred held his hands, squeezing them. "Is Ally okay?" He asked, but there wasn't any response from him.

"Speak to us! How is my daughter doing?" Jayda cried, tugging at the collar of his lab coat.

"Unfortunately, we lost her." He announced, almost too silent to be audible.

"No!" Jayda screamed, falling into Dave and Jeremy's hands, who caught her to prevent her from falling.

"Why didn't you save her, Doctor?" Fred squeezed his hands more, suppressing his tears from falling. How could Ally die?

"The force she was hit by and landed with was too terrible for her to have survived it. If she had, it could have resulted in the damage of her brain, series of disabilities and there was no way she was going to be normal." He tried to sound... encouraging?

Fred was about to say something but his head jerked to Jayda when she loosed free from Dave and Jeremy and started running out of the place crazily. They immediately started running behind her.

Jayda was being so quick with running then she got into an elevator, locking it before they could get to her.

"No way!" He screamed. "Jayda, are you crazy? Do you think I can do without you?"

"What difference does it make? You were going for a one-year program that'll be difficult for you to see me so we can just say our goodbyes through that." As much as it was hurting her, she wondered how she was still able to say those words.

Jayda didn't want Fred to meet her or know that she was dead so she was trying her best to convince him to leave her. She didn't want him to feel rueful if he decided to marry someone else.

"I promise you that you'll never see me again so don't bother to look for me. We will never cross paths. You can do whatever shit you want but nothing will make us come together forever." It was actually the truth.

'I'm going to die before eight months so I shouldn't be a burden to Fred's progression after my death.' she thought to herself. Her heart was aching as she felt it was the right decision.

"You're not leaving me." He shook his head, frowning and almost in tears. Fred hardly cried but there was no way he wasn't going to cry if she left him. "It wasn't my fault that Ally died? Why are you doing this? Is there something I need to know that you aren't telling me?" He cried.

"No, Fred. I just don't want us to be together anymore." She said with a frigid voice and face then placed her hands on the bed to push herself upwards to stand straight. "I guess it is goodbye then." She felt like she was choking. She coughed out a bitter laugh.

"Jayda," he held her wrist as she turned around then he pulled her to him, making her sit on his lap and kissed her on the lips passionately. He intensified the kiss in many ways as they kept exploring each other's mouth.

Their breath-sucking kiss lasted for a longer time than ever as his hands kept caressing her back.

Finally, they broke apart from the kiss then she rose from his lap, moving backwards as she spoke. "I guess that's a goodbye kiss then." She chuckled bitterly, with a wave of her hand.

It was all feeling like an imagination or nightmare to him. Fred wasn't able to process any sense in her decision so he still convinced himself that she was playing a prank or something.
