"It is against the rules to deliberate after a verdict has already been declared, Claire." Beta Conrad mumbled in a worried fashion.

"Please, I plead with you all to give him one final chance." She pursed her lips while her fierce look melted into extreme worry and sadness.

"And what if, he his still proven guilty?" An elder asked. She paused and then stared at me with eyes that expressed so many emotions. Emotions I couldn't clearly understand.

"Then I want to be killed alongside him." She stated in pride and the chatters increased. My head sparked from the craziness I just heard.

"What no!!" I blared whilst struggling with the huge stick I was bound to.

"That is unacceptable, Claire." Beta Conrad mumbled.

"Please rethink your decision, Claire." An elder commented but my mate wriggled her head. Her decision was final!

"Claire stop this nonsense immediately!" I roared, I didn't even know where the strength in my voice came from. All I knew was that, I wasn't going to allow my mate alongside my unborn child die a shameful death with me.

She glanced at me and smiled but I started to cry. All my life, I've been taking reckless and crazy decisions. And for the first time, my mate was taking that step. That same recklessness and madness!

"Claire!" I barked in a pleading fashion but the look in her eyes said it all.

"That is a command!" She proclaimed and they all bowed their heads except for Blake who scoffed.

"You bastard!" I growled, gnashing my teeth ferociously and dearly hoping I could break from my bondage and rip him to shreds.

"This is the last chance, Claire. How do you want to prove his innocence?" Blake mocked and she immediately rewarded him with a cunning smile.

"Lilith!" She pitched and the elders gasped all staring in horrific awe as the crowd parted way again for a middle aged woman to walk towards us.
