The hair stylists blow dried, flat ironed, and curled my hair. After they left the curlers in my hair, the make up stylists did their jobs. By the time they finished, Alysia came in with the dress and Marco following behind her. Marco helped me out of the chair and walked me over to the dress hanging up in the bedroom. Alysia slowly unzipped it and I almost smacked the hell out of her. I don't need surprises today. I just need everything to go as smoothly as possible.
I put the dress on and walked over to the mirror to see how I looked. At first I didn't know how the hell was looking at me in the mirror but then I realized that it was me. I looked different but still extremely beautiful. I dyed my highlights a lighter brown than I already had and was pulled up into a loose looking bun that showed off my curls. And the dress was amazing. I couldn't stop staring at the beautiful embroidery. (Picture on Side)
"It's an ivory strapless multi lace soft A-line gown with corded rose lace bode, bubble lace skirt and Chantilly lace peplum accent. It's a unique Vera Wang. They only had maybe 2 and the original is with Vera Wang but you're the only other one to have it. Its amazing isn't it!? I mean it comes out next year!!!" Marco practically screamed at me.
Although I didn't verbally agree with Marco, I did agree with him. The dress was amazing. Marco pulled a few strings and talked to one of his uncle's about it. And since Vera Wang loved Marco's uncle so much, she gave us the dress. Of course with a price, but she let me buy it. And I'm the first person to wear it to their wedding.
I started tearing up and Marco wasn't too happy about that.
"Not until after the wedding ceremony! We just did your make up." Marco said, coming over to me with a napkin in hand to wipe away the make up destroying tears.
"I'm sorry. It's just..."
"I know sweetie. But I'd like your face to stay neat until after the ceremony." He said. I nodded my head and accepted defeat. I would hold my tears until after the ceremony at least.
"Look there's mommy." Alysia said as she walked in with Adrian in her arms and my father following suit with Nicole in his.
"My angels." I said. I held back the tears but I showed the biggest smile. Adrian was in a little tuxedo and he was super cute and Nicole had on a white and black dress that sort of matched mine. They were adorable. I kissed them both and tried to hold them but Marco wouldn't allow me.
