Mom tightened her hold on my shoulders and looked up at her. I didn't understand what was happening but I knew something big was about to happen.
"Hey. Yeah I'm in the hospital room with her right now. She's in room 403. Just come up now. You need to see her before its too late." He said before hanging up the phone.
A few minutes later, a tall, well built older man stepped into the room. He had gray blended into his chestnut hair that stopped at his ears. He was very attractive for an older man but there was something strangely familiar about him.
Then I saw it. A wolf tattoo poking out of his shirt sleeve. I remembered my childhood and how I would always ask about that tattoo to one person. The one person who had it.
"Hello Arianna." He said as he walked over to my bed.
Daddy?
ARIANNA'S POV
"Daddy?" I whispered. I felt like all the air was getting pushed out of my lungs. I almost passed out but mom held me up. I looked back at her and she had this adoring look in her eyes behind her unshed tears while she looked down at dad. I wanted to ask so many questions but I stayed quiet because I still felt like if I moved, I'd wake up from this dream.
"I saw the babies. A beautiful boy and girl. You're going to make an amazing mother. Just like Annabelle. She use to sing to you guys to rock you to sleep. Do you remember those songs? God she had an amazing voice. Baby girl, don't leave those babies too. They need their mother. I promise when you wake up that I'll explain everything. Just please, come back to us." He said, getting up and kissing my forehead before leaving the room.
Thousands of questions still floated around my head. And I wanted every one of them answered. I couldn't take not being able to move my body. I wanted to go back into myself and wake the hell up. This seeing and not being able to do anything about it life, wasn't cut out for me. I closed my eyes, trying to imagine myself back in my own body.
"Sweetie." My mother said, turning me around to face her as I opened my eyes. "Why don't you just use the door?" She said with amusement clear on her face as she gestured to a random door that appeared out of no where. "Go on. It won't bite. But I'm warning you. You won't be able to do much for the first few hours because your mind is waking up and trying to connect with your body. Don't over work yourself honey." She said as she kissed my forehead and pushed me towards the door.
