"They're lucky to have you," I smile proudly.

"If you hear any loud noises coming from this room, don't worry about me. I just have to take my anger out on some things," he grumbles. I sigh and pat him on the shoulder before going outside the room. As soon as the door was closed I hear a glass or something break. He must be throwing things against the wall. Andrea was sitting on a stair step. She stands up quickly and knocks on Devon's door.

"Devon, Devon, are you okay?" she asks. He doesn't respond so she goes in anyway. "Aw Devon! Come here."

"I don't want you to see me like this Andrea," he sniffles. Was he crying? She goes in and closes the door anyway. Maybe I should check if he's alright? He never cries, he must be really upset about this then. He's probably upset that his little sister is now not going to be a little kid anymore. I go downstairs and see Amber sitting on Damian's lap.

"Is he okay?" Amber demands to know.

"I think so," I say uncertainly. He obviously isn't if he's crying but I didn't want to tell her that in case she got upset and stressed.

"Can someone explain what's going on?!" Rachel says.

"Devon's just upset about Damian and I being mates again," Amber lies.

"Jeez it's been like two months now and he's still not used to it!" Hannah says.

"Well it is a lot of getting used to. Do you guys want to do our homework in your room?" Amber asks the girls.

"Sure let's go," Hannah says.

"I'll meet you two up there in a minute," Amber says. Hannah and Rachel go upstairs and it was just Amber, Damian and I left in the room.

"I'm glad you're okay Amber, you need to take care of yourself more especially now," I say, placing my hand on her belly.

"I know, I was just shocked from seeing Damian hurt," she says.

"I'm sorry Amber," Damian says.

"It's not your fault, Damian," she says. Devon walks downstairs slowly and stops on the last step.

"Can I speak to you Amber?" Devon asks. She looks at us two with shock and Damian gives her a reassuring smile. She nods at Devon and follows him upstairs.

Amber's POV:

"Oh I'm sorry, it's just last time you said if I got close you'd hurt me," I explain.

"That was when my wolf was in control, but I'm calm now and I would never hurt you or the baby," he assures me. I take my hand off my stomach and he grins down at it. "I see you're more protective of your baby than yourself."

"I don't care about myself just as long as they're okay," I say softly. He smiles weakly at me then at my flat stomach.

"It's going to be a while before I get used to this."

"I know, me too especially since I'm the one who has to go through it, it's going to be sore," I say, cringing at the thought. He chuckles softly.

"You'll be fine, you're strong." He takes my hand and squeezes it lightly. "Have you had an appointment yet?"

"No, my first one's tomorrow."

"Can I please come, I really want to," he asks unexpectedly.
