He finally let me go, and I turned to look him dead in the eyes.

"I, Scarlett Smith, reject you, Thaddeus Reynolds," I spat.

He let out a hearty chuckle. "You think you can just reject me?" he asked annoyed

"I don't think I can, I just did," I snapped back.

"Well, Scarlett Smith, I reject your rejection," he stated smirking at me.

"You can't do th-"

"Well, I just did"

He came towards me as I backed away. He growled as he lunged for me and picked me up. I squirmed in his hold as his wolf growled at me.

"I will never accept you," I said blatantly. I squirmed in his arms like a fish, you know when you take them out of the water and they have like a freaking seizure? Well let's say I was like a fish out of water at the moment.

He gritted his teeth and sent me a glare; he placed me into a long limo that I assumed was how he got here. Ya know? His mode of transportation, riding in style much? He slammed the door shut, leaving a dent in the door.

"Yeesh, this dude's got serious anger issues," I mumbled, slouching in my seat. I heard the other door open as he slipped in the back with me. He nodded at the driver and we started to drive farther and farther from the place that I have lived all my life. I looked at him, and spoke.

"Call off the attack."

"No"

"Fine." He watched me, as I extended my claws, and scratched the leather seats.

"Darling-"

"Don't fucking call me that."

"Scarlett-"

He was interrupted as I reeled my hand back and slashed his skin with my claws, baring my teeth.

"Scarlett Smith, I will make you accept me and you will like it," he growled when he shifted his eyes back to me.

"No, I will never love a killer, especially one who kills his own kind, one who's trying to kill my family at this moment."

And after I sent him that, Thaddeus' eyes found mine, they glared at mine and at the moment, being scared shitless, I remained up in my safe haven. I looked at all the trees around me as I felt the tree shake from his growl. I went out on a branch and jumped to the tree next to it. He continued to growl as I lifted myself onto the sturdier branch. I climbed higher and higher until he couldn't see me anymore. I heard his growl again.

Quickly jumping to the next tree, this time, the branch wasn't as sturdy as I had expected it to be. It broke as my hand attempted to wrap around it; its thick look was very deceiving. I started to fall through the trees, my head hitting every possible branch, causing me to get dizzier and dizzier. But before I felt the full force of the impact, as I waited for it, it never came. With blood trickling down the side of my face and the bruise that would probably be forming soon, adding to the splinters; my eyes sunk under the pressure, not caring about the man carrying me, as I put in one last effort to keep my eyes open and punch him in the chin, before my eyes shut on me.

I woke up, my eyes opening slowly and when I looked up, I couldn't help admiring the bruised chin above me. But with that bruised chin, came an evil Alpha. So I did what made sense, I screamed.

He frantically looked around as I took this moment to get out of his hold, but he only tightened, causing me to pound my hands on his rock hard chest, one that contained his cold heart.

"Let me go!" I growled, but you want to know what he did? This asshole just chuckled at me.

"Darling, stop embarrassing me," he said, looking down at me putting his full attention on me. My jaw dropped as I quickly reeled my hand back and slapped him across the face, he stumbled back, making it easy for me to get out of his grasp.

"Did you just slap me?" he seethed out holding his red cheek.

"Yes. Why is the big bad Alpha upset when someone hurts him?" I asked taunting him. He growled at me, once again, as I put my hands on my hips.

"Leave me alone, and stop embarrassing yourself, it's even making me cringe." I angrily retorted, and made my way in the opposite direction.

He stood there for a moment, shocked and then I could hear his heavy footsteps chasing me. He rammed me into a tree, pinning me to it, my breath hitch ever so slightly because of how close we were, and because he smelt really sweaty, like please go take a shower.
