Blake took Xenia aside and snapped, "Stay here and behave. If you try anything again, you might not live to regret it."

"Please, Blake. Keep my secret and don't tell anyone about what I said. If she finds out, I'm doomed," Xenia pleaded.

Blake stared down at her. "If you want to survive, sketch that woman. I remember you used to take art classes, didn't you?"

"I can't guarantee if it'll look the same," Xenia mumbled as she lowered her head.

"You know what'll happen if it's not."

After walking to the basement door, he ordered, "Treat her injuries. Then bring her paper and a set of drawing tools."

"Understood." Barnaby nodded.

Blake lowered his voice and added, "Keep the sketch confidential. No one else is to see it."

After leaving the basement, he immediately tried calling Noelle, but it went unanswered. So, he sent her a message instead.

"I got something out of Xenia. It's related to her biological mom."

When Noelle finally checked her phone after a meeting and noticed Blake's message, she was slightly intrigued. What could Xenia possibly know?

She called him back right away. "I was in a meeting. So, what did Xenia say?"

Blake repeated everything that had happened earlier, and Noelle felt a slight disappointment. It seemed like Xenia didn't know much after all.

Blake reminded her and said, "You need to be careful."

"Got it."

"I've had Xenia draw her mom's face, and I'll send it to you as soon as it's done."
