Trevor wasn't there when I woke up, a pink sticky note taped on the kitchen counter.

Went to drop Maria.

See you later

Trevor❤

What was happening?

One minute we're sharing comforting hugs the next we're so close that the sexual tension between us could barely move.

Letting out a breath, I run a hand through my neglected hair and groan.

Why is so much happening?

As soon as I was done with my hair care routine, my phone began to ring. My hair was wrapped in an old T-shirt since the towel would pull at my strands, and my body felt all light and fresh.

I grabbed the phone, eyeing the word Trevor that displayed across the screen.

"Hello?" I answer to warily.

"Good morning, how are you?"

"I'm... fine." Act normal Ocean! He chuckles.

"I'm taking you out to lunch, get ready. Is that okay?"

"I um... well..."

"I'll come get you at 12." Without me agreeing he hangs up and I sigh, swinging open my closet.

I go for a simple off-shoulder dress, that could be worn everywhere.

It was tight on top but flowed just above my knee. The color was a light yellow, which I used a simple white sandal to compliment.

I comb out my hair, a place it in a loose updo, I glossed my lips and grabbed my purse as the clock hit 11:30.

I was hungry, and I still had a bit of time.

I open the fridge and grab an apple deciding to munch on it before he arrived.

Drumming my hand on the table, I let my eyes wander to the clock. 11:34. Ugh.

I walk towards the couch and turn on the TV as The real began to play, I notice a paper tightly wrapped and barely visible under the rug.

I furrow my eyebrows and remove it from its place.

Opening it slowly, I place the apple onto a tissue and read the words.

My eyebrows furrowed. It was Dain's address.

How did that get there?

That was the only thing written on this mostly empty piece of paper.

The door swung open and I jump, instinctively shoving the paperback under the rug.

Trevor walked in, keys dangling. He had a white polo and black skinny jeans with the same color combat boots.

The only thing he was missing to complete the whole "Teenage Player" look, was a baseball hat he would wear backward.

"Hey, beautiful? You ready?" He smiles and I smile back.

"Sure." I clear my throat.

We went to IHOP and I have to admit, I was a little on edge.

He was just so sketchy, last night, and now a mysterious paper under my rug. He disappears during the night, doesn't say where he's going... it's just... hmm.

We enter the ice cream shop and the first thing I notice is the number of males that were there.

Totally oblivious, Ocean rushed towards the showcase, staring at the flavors with wide eyes.

She was adorable.

The men stared at her... well rather her backside. And I suddenly noticed how short her dress was.

Getting irritated by the second, I stand behind her, glowering at the men who dared to look at what was mine.

She giggled leaning into me and I raise an eyebrow.

I should bring her for ice cream more often.

She took a cup, filled with different flavors. Cookie dough, cookies, and cream, chocolate. Vanilla, you know, diabetes.

She reached out to pay, but I had already handed the cashier my money, she shook her head at me, but was too distracted by the TV to care.

We took a seat at one of the booths, and I sat next to her instead of on the other side.

Ice cream grazed the tip of her nose and I smiled softly as she stated outside happily.

"Ocean?"

"Mm?" She turned to me and I licked her nose quickly.

"Ew!" She closed her eyes, short giggles escaping her as she wiped her nose. "Couldn't have just been cute and use a napkin. You're so annoying."

I laugh louder at her tone, and she looks around, seeing as I was laugh like a mad man.

"I really like ice cream." She whispered. "Although, not your terrible flavors. " resisting the urge to laugh again I lean my head onto my hand.

"I can see that."
