Trevor's POV

Rushing out of the room, I nearly collide with my Matteo as he makes his way towards the stairs.

"Have you seen Ocean?" I ask him.

"She took all her bags and went that way," he points to the direction he came from. "Mama was with her... I think she's leaving or something."

Sighing, I stomp down the hall and roughly push the door open. Ocean looks up with wide eyes as mama glares at me.

"Why didn't you knock?!" She scolds.

"Sorry, mama. Ocean, what're you doing?" I ask her as she continues to look at me, c9nfused.

"Well... Your mom said she cleared out the guest room and got it set up so I moved in here." She says, looking from me to my mom and I sigh.

"You didn't want to stay in the room with me?" I was kind of relieved, I thought she saw Aloria and I... I thought she left.

"I assumed you needed your space." She answers and I frown.

"Stop pestering the girl Trevor, and go get ready, we leave in an hour." My mother ushers me outside and slams the door in my face.

What are those two up to?

After my shower I was standing in front of my mirror, passing a wide-tooth comb through my hair to maintain the curls.

I added the moisturizer and quickly massaged it in. Rinsing off my hand, my mind wandered to Ocean. I wondered if her intentions were as she said, it slightly worried me that she might've seen what happened downstairs. I shouldn't have allowed to Aloria kiss me.

'Why would it matter?' I oppose myself.

Ocean and I aren't together...

I sigh and throw on a black button-up and a fitted pair of dress pants.

There was a knock at my door, and it swung open. "Son?"

My father came in and I sat up, "Dad." I greeted and he sat next to me.

"I saw what happened this morning Trevor."

"It wasn't-,"

"I know, you don't love Aloria anymore. But your mother saw it also, and she was furious."

"As she would be."

"She really likes Ocean, and she thinks you're trying to hurt her. So I have an honest question, do you have feelings for Ocean?"

"Man to man, it's just between you and me." I bite the inside of my cheek as I stare at the ground.

"Honestly dad? I don't know. I think so, but things are difficult. Confusing even,"

"Then make it less confusing."

"It's not that simple." I snort and he nods.

"It is. You're in Italy! The city of love-,"

"I'm pretty sure that's Paris."

"-take her our and clear things up, have a discussion, find out where her head is at. Its been too long and you're not getting any younger. You need someone to keep you out of that trouble you keep running back to." He raises his eyebrow, a silent question, and I rub my face.

"The rest has decided that they didn't want to come, so let's get going," Mama says, and I noticed it was just Ocean, Aloria, Meo, Matteo, My dad, my mother, and I.

This was going to be quite interesting.

My mother wanted to bring Ocean around Italy, but more in the food places since that's what my mom loves. Food.

I can already hear my stomach crying by the end of the day.

My hand was clenched, as Meo practically stuck to Ocean like glue. Did he think my threat was empty? Maybe I should put a bullet in him to prove my point. Maybe.

We all get into the car, and thankfully, Mel forgot something so I got the chance to sit next to Ocean in the car.

"Hey." I greet her and she smiles up at me without saying anything, strange.

"You look really beautiful." I compliment.

"Thanks. You look nice as well." Formal and brisk. Why was I receiving this tone? She didn't even look at me and the vehicle wasn't even moving yet.

"What happened to your hair?"

"It's a wig."

Oh.

"Great, cause I love your natural hair." I try again and she turns slightly to look at me. She offers me a smile once again, before retreating to look outside the window.

Something was wrong, and I had a feeling that it had something to do with this morning. Did mom tell her? She probably did.

I internally sigh. I can't imagine what was going on through her head, but I think dad may be right, we need to sit and talk and figure things out. It's obvious we both have feelings for each other, so maybe, just maybe, we could test the waters and become something more.
