Oceans POV

I felt sick.

And no it wasn't because I saw Trevor kissing Aloria. Well, not completely, but I genuinely felt like I was coming down with something.

The moment I step foot in that restaurant and took the smell of food the only thing I want to do was vomit. I didn't say anything though.

Theodore has been acting strange and I can only guess it's because he's nervous that I'll lash out or possibly leave but I'm a little more mature than that. If they're in love, who am I, despite my feelings to get in between that.

The first restaurant we went to was Brunello, and it wasn't too bad. It was nicely decorated and the people buzzed with life and excitement. When the food came out though...

"We waited almost two hours for this?" Trevor's mother seemed to be holding back a chuckle, while Aloria all but sneered at me.

"It's cooked to perfection, and overloaded with herbs and spices, you don't want to much of that in your system."

"I mean sure, but if someone comes here for lunch or even dinner, you're gonna give them this? What will it do?"

"Well maybe if some people were less overweight, they wouldn't need so much food to fill them."

"Aloria," Trevor snapped.

"It's fine Trevor, Aloria, do not be intolerant. People are allowed to have different views and opinions, please learn to respect that." I don't give her a moment to retaliate as I look around the table. "Are we ready to eat?"

Trevor kept eyeing me from across the table which I practically forced him to sit at, and Meo simply littered light touches where he could. I often found myself tugging at my top forgetting it was cropped, slightly uncomfortable.

It was quite unbelievable how long they took to eat. It was literally just a forkful of spaghetti that I swallowed in less than a second and not only that, but my taste buds were now activated and I was full-blown hungry right about now.

I let them eat, and while doing so my eyes wandered across the restaurant as people had indistinct chatter about who knows what. Foreign language filled my ears and I guess you could say it was overwhelming; witnessing another culture up close is like an aquarium but for humans.

It's indescribable.

My eyes locked with a man in the far corner of the room. He was handsome, to say the least. Jet black styled hair like most of the Italians, and a tall figure that sat seductively on the edge of the stool at the bar corner. He tipped a glass of liquor onto his lips and into his mouth as he stared at me from under his lashes. I sat, slightly engaged by these movements as he continued to stare at me.

"Ocean." My eyes snapped back to Meo, who was glancing at me and then the man.

"Yea?" Miriam smirked at me and I felt my cheeks burning up as I clear my throat. The entire table was staring at me. "What it is?"

"Are you ready to go? You seem a little... flustered." Miriam teases and I throw her a playful glare. How is it that women notice everything?

Meanwhile, Trevor sat fuming in his chair, I mean, he couldn't make it any more obvious. My eyes fell on the hand that Aloria had on his arm that stroked gently.

"Yes, I'm ready. Where are we off too next?"

"Since you want something that'll fill you, we'll go to Bread-in." Richard chirps in, dusting off his fitted satin pink button-down.

"Bread-in?"

"You'll see what it is," Meo says, smiling down at me while throwing an arm over my shoulder. "You're surely going to love it."

I laugh a little dryly, and Miriam simply pouts, shaking her head at her oblivious son.

"I meant it when I said you looked flustered Ocean, maybe you should use the ladies room before we leave." She nods her head in the direction of the ladies' room.

"Excuse me," I say to Meo as I stand. I noticed that I had to pass near the handsome man in order to get to the lady's room.

Do you ever have that moment? Where you just suddenly feel real... sexy?

With confidence, I unnecessarily add an extra sway to my hips as I make my way past him, pretending not to see him. I fix my wig in the bathroom and reapply my lip-gloss. Turning around, I slightly tugged at my jeans, giving my butt a little pat before walking back out.

"Excuse me?" He calls, in a dark, sensual voice that I slowly turn around to acknowledge. "Sono Luca,"

"Um, I don't... "

"Ah, you are American?"

"That I am," I chuckle lightly, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. "But I think I'm smart enough to know that you told me your name?"

Oh, mother, he was gorgeous. Not as gorgeous as Trevor, but he was truly something with light green orbs that followed my every move, and somewhat plump pink lips that were once stuck to the rim of a whiskey glass.

"That is correct, what's yours?"

Observant of my salivating, Trevor once again comes up from behind me and chuckles into my ear. I shiver slightly, my eyes darting to Aloria who was staring at me with a dark look.

"Trevor, this isn't appropriate."

"What isn't? This?" He presses against me even more, and by this time I was wondering if Miriam didn't notice her other son calmly breathe down my throat. Meo, thankfully, was too distracted to realize.

"I know about you and Aloria," I whisper. "You don't have to pretend anymore, I'm okay wi-"

"Shut up." He whispers harshly into my ear and I move to give him a piece of my mind but he holds me in place by roughly placing a hand at my hip and keeping me in place.

"When we get home." Is all he says and I huff slightly, moving forward?

"Y' know Ocean, bread isn't normally eaten by itself." Richard explains. "But there's always an exception." He offers a gentle smile, as he hands me a bag with my order. Freshly baked bread, grazed with homemade olive oil stuffed with roasted pork and cheese.

"Thank you," I say almost excitedly and soon everyone had their orders.

We decided not to sit and eat, but rather take a walk and enjoy the feel of the breeze against our skins. Hehe.

Aloria was being extremely quiet, and Meo seemed to be engaged with his mother. Richard devoured his sandwich happily, and well, there was Trevor and me.

"Do you like it?" He questions and I nod, mouth filled.

"It's really good," I comment after forcing myself to swallow.

We're quiet for a while as darkness fell. We all walked aimlessly, everyone around us in their own little worlds. Trevor threw away his trash, before removing his phone and turning it towards me.

"Oh no," I immediately move to cover my face and he chuckles, the flash emitting light onto me. "Trevor," I groan.

"Can I just get one? And I'll stop, I promise." I sigh, before removing my hands and narrowing my eyes at the camera. He grins at the screen and once again the flash appears. "Adorable."

"Can I see it?" I ask and he snatches his phone away from me so quickly I saw fire. "Damn boy," I giggle and he retaliates by narrowing his eye at me this time.

At that moment I forgot about our constant battle between temptations, right now we were okay. We were grinning at jokes, and taking selfies in Italy. The troubles could wait till later.
