Ocean's POV

I sat on the edge of the bed and slowly removed my shoes as Trevor stepped in and closed the door.

The tension was a bit present, and it was then that I came off my high and clasped my hands in front of me.

"Nothing is going on between Aloria and I."

"Trevor you don't need to lie about it, I saw-"

"The kiss? I didn't... I didn't kiss her, she kissed me."

"And you let her," I laugh quietly, but it just came out bitter. I closed my eyes and sighed. "Look, Trevor, I get it. Meo told me that you guys were engaged-"

"Meo." He scoffs.

"Yes. Meo." I fold my arms. "He's your brother and my friend."

"Oh, friend? That's what you call the dates?"

"There weren't any dates! He took me out to see Italy what's the problem?"

"I brought you here Ocean, not him."

"Whatever, look we're not here to talk about me and Meo, or the lack of, we're here to end whatever it is that you and I pretend to have."

"Huh?"

"The holding hands? The touching and pressing against each other."

"Ocean it could not be any more obvious that Aloria and I aren't together." He runs a hand through his hair.

"I'm tired, Trevor." I stand to leave but instead, I'm backed into a wall.

"Stop it."

"You like me. You like me and you know it, can we stop playing games please?"

"No games are being played." I huff, pushing at him but he's like the man of steel apparently.

"Ocean." He says calmly and I sigh. We're quiet. Me staring into his chest, and him looking down at me.

"I'm scared," I whisper lowly. "And a bit jealous."

He chuckles at the second part before tipping my chin up so I could look at him.

"What are you afraid of? I'm not anything like Dain."

"I know that... but I don't want to get heartbroken Trevor. Like you said, what we're doing... it's like games. One minute we're touching... like this, and the next we're saying how we aren't ready or we can't do it."

"Then let's make things serious." He whispers and I bite my lip, my eyes lowering to his.

"But I was going to run us a bath," He pouts, placing a hand on my naked hip.

"I'm good." Great, I already caught an attitude. To my bafflement, this man had the audacity to burst out laughing.

"Oh, will you shut up?" I grab a pillow and throw it at him before wrapping myself with a sheet.

"Alright, alright." He says, drawing me close to him, and into his chest. "Stay with me though."

"No."

"Please?" He pouts again.

"No."

"Please?" He teases, trying to rub our noses together and I turn my head, giggling slightly.

"I'm going to my bed Trevor, goodnight." He finally let go still pouting as I leave the room with a smile etched onto my face.

Showered, moisturized, and suddenly exhausted, I barely heard when my door opened and closed, a figure crawling in next to me. But like always, I smelt him before I saw him.

"Trevor? What is it that you're doing here?" I question, as he wrapped a hand around my waist and pulled my back to his front.

"Shh, you took my sheet, and now I need warmth. Goodnight Sweetheart."

"Goodnight," I reply sleepily, with no complaints.
