Trevor stared at her for a moment, before simply turning back to me. I was about to him that it was okay when he spoke first. "Now, you were going to tell me your expectations?"
My eyes drifted to catch Aloria's expression as she stared at him, baffled at the fact that he was ignoring her. "Trevor, per favore, ascoltami. ho bisogno del tuo aiuto" Aloria seemed quite desperate as she tried to catch his eye.
( Trevor please, hear me out. I need your help)
"Dannazione Aloria! Adesso? Nonvedi cosa sta succedendo in questo momento? Sono occupato. Per favore vai via." Trevor suddenly exclaims, and as confused as I was I stand.
( Dammit Aloria! Now? Can't you see what's happening? I'm busy. Please, go away.)
"I'll give you guys a moment."
"No need to, we were just leaving." Aloria steps aside, mouth wide open as Trevor takes up my hand and walks outside.
"Is everything okay?" I warily ask as he escorts me to the vehicle and opens my door. He waits until he was inside to answer me.
"I don't know. She says she needs my help but I don't want to hear this right now, I'm with you." He intertwines our fingers.
"She seemed pretty distraught. Maybe you should listen to her."
"Maybe I will, but later."
I don't argue, as I lay my head on his shoulder.
"There's so much we haven't done. I'm sorry this trip was filled with so much drama." He sighs.
"That's alright, we still have a bit of time remaining."
"You better get up early in the morning then." I groan as the vehicle stops, and I notice we were outside the Coliseum.
Trevor as usual gets out first and opens my door.
I was sort of in awe as I was I stood before ... well, a battleground of gladiators.
"Roman gladiators were usually slaves... prisoners of war or condemned criminals. Although most were men we did have a few females. They would assemble here to fight against each other. The poor, and the rich would come to see, but the Emperor himself had a certain liking to these games." Trevor explained as we walked towards it, my hands latched with his. "These people fought to the death, and if the ground was too soaked with blood, then it was to be covered with a fresh layer of sand and that was it, back to the 'games'."
"That's crazy," I frowned.
"Yea but Christianity put an end to it, well mostly those that put caused death to human life."
"So why is it broken?"
"It took about a decade to build, and natural disasters did that to it. But it looks pretty cool, it really serves its purpose as a tourist attraction."
"It's Colleseum by the way."
"Huh?" I raise an eyebrow at him.
"I heard you murmur Coliseum under your breath, but it's actually Colleseum."
"Oh... okay, my bad." He chuckles.
"I had more plans but Mom wants us home tonight since we're leaving tomorrow. She says she hasn't bonded with you enough." He rolls his eyes and I chuckle.
"I love your mother, she's so real."
"She told you all my secrets didn't she?"
"Each and every one of them."
"Ah, finally! I don't know how Trevor can be so cruel, taking away the only company I have."
A chorus of "Mama!" erupts in the room and I giggle as she snaps at them to shut up.
Everyone seemed to be at home, and Meo's eyes landed on me, then down at my body. I suddenly felt uncomfortable wearing something so fitted.
"I'll be right back, I'm going to wear something more comfortable."
I lock the door this time, plopping onto the bed.
So Trevor and I are together? I wonder how it'll be when we get back to America, how will we act?
I throw on a tracksuit, before heading back downstairs. Lorenzo, Antonio, Niccolo, Matteo, and Meo all sat together playing video games. They didn't seem all classed up, in sweatpants and sweaty T-shirts, and it was refreshing to finally see them in a normal state.
"What's wrong Aloria? Control yourself." Miriam says, looking a bit disturbed. Before we knew it, a glass flew across the room and hit the wall behind me.
"Oh naw." I don't care how psychotic this child was but she needed to be put in her place so she can learn what not to do.
I was already charging towards her when Trevor picked my heavy cow self-up and threw me over his shoulder. "No Ocean."
"No? Am I your dog or something? Put me down, I am a grown woman who can deal with my own problems!"
"You're embarrassing yourself." He says, bringing me outside.
"Doe sit look like I care? She threw a glass at me Trevor, and now she's gonna think that she can do some bs like that again because I didn't set her straight!"
"Stop it." He set me down, and I look away, as he tries to catch my eye.
"I don't appreciate what you did Trevor. I can help myself."
"I'm sure you can but why would you want to fight with her? I mean-"
"Are you protecting her?" I ask him, crossing my arms and he falters.
"Ocean..."
"Trevor, if you have any feelings for her still-"
"I don't Ocean. But something seems off, she looks a little more than just crazy and depressed." I was silent a bit because I did agree with him on it. The way she looked at me was almost as if she wanted to kill me right there and then, and I've seen enough Lifetime movies to know that this girl was perhaps more than very capable of getting rid of me.
"Okay fine."
"I'm gonna talk to her, spend some time with my family okay?"
"Yes Trevor," I say, a bit grumpily, ready to stomp away but he grabs my waist and crashes his lips down and mine. Of course, I kiss back, maybe that was what I wanted all day. He tries to pull away but I groan and try to pull him closer to me but he only grabs my butt and leans away.
"We'll continue this later, the sooner I talk to her, the sooner I can get back to you."
"Okay." I pout. He pecks my lips one more time before escorting me back inside and heading to talk to the woman who belongs in the asylum.
