"Do you want me to come with you?" I was currently standing at the door, ensuring Trevor knew about my whereabouts in case of anything.
"I really don't want to bother you..."
"I'm doing absolutely nothing right now, I rather know I'm there just in case something happens." I nod, relief somewhat clouding my mind as he throws me a smile and jogs to his room to change his shirt or whatever.
He comes out with a grey shirt that clung to his figure and matching cotton pants that reached his knee.
"Are you ready?"
Grabbing his car keys, he locked our apartment before heading to the car. It was a silent ride, my nerves wracking over me like they always did when I was approaching his house.
I was uncertain.
Afraid of what may be.
Wringing my hands, Trevor slowly reaches to take them in his.
"You have nothing to be worried about, I'm here." He assures. 'If anything happens, just scream and I'll be there in a flash." I nod, letting out a soft breath before getting out of the car. The light on the porch was on, nothing strange until I turned the knob and it was locked.
He wasn't home.
Ready to jump for joy, I pull the spare key out of the flower pot and push it into the keyhole.
I walk into the house quickly but still wary as I grabbed my textbook from the counter. Something caught the corner of my eyes and I notice a huge Rolex at the back of the TV. It wasn't Dain...or maybe I just haven't seen it before.
Shrugging, I head back outside, locking the door and practically sprinting to Trevor's car.
'No trouble?" Trevor questions and a smile fills my lips.
"He wasn't home." Wherever he was, I was just glad I didn't have to deal with him, at least not tonight.
"It is a tattoo parlor, some black lounge chairs would be kinda relevant since it's supposed to be a chill place. You don't want to have people backing out at the last moment because they don't feel comfortable." He nods, his fingers stroking his chin and I can't help but look up at him.
Gracious me.
Today his hair was still damp, he had a light white T-shirt and grey knee-length cotton pants. He looked nothing like a criminal.
Looks really do deceive.
Call me stupid but I was worried about Dain, what if something had happened to him?
It would be great because I wouldn't be abused anymore, yet he's still a hum-
My phone interrupts my thoughts and I give Trevor a small smile before pressing a button.
"This... is your... fault..."He gasps and I furrow my eyebrows.
"Dain?"
"There's...an envelope...under my bed...just...for you..."He looks smug, well he's trying to as I just stare at his dying body.
"You may be... freed from me... physically... but... I have scarred... your every memory... your first touch... your first time... your... your... your first pregnancy. "Tears fall out before I can stop them. "I will always... be in your mind...I..."
The door opens and closes shut and I'm unfamiliar with anything else that happens because I become lost in a world of insecurity.
TREVOR'S POV
Deciding that I've heard enough I step inside, my jaw ticked, my posture rigid as I stare at the man.
His eyes land on me, and widen, the monitors speed up drastically. I slowly take steps until I was completely behind Ocean.
He stammered incoherently, foam beginning to form from the side of his mouth and I can't help but smirk as his eyes dilate.
The nurses burst in ushering us out and I turned all my attention to Ocean.
I pull her into my arms as she breaks down, and it seems like even as I destroyed his every spirit completely vaporized hers.
