Then Anna smirked and said while crossing her arms over chest, "Want a bet dip shit?" Derek smirked back at her and said, "Yes I would. If you win you get to move in with your mate with my blessing but if you don't then say goodbye to that dick head."

Anna stepped forward and said, "Deal. Everyone heard he said it right?" We all nodded and then Anna took out her phone and played us a recording, her smirk growing larger by the minute, "Derek! Swear and promise that you will allow Joanna to move in with her mate and not go against it." That was Uncle John's voice and then Derek's voice was next, "I promise!" Then Aunt Darrell said, "Got that all on recording sweetie." Then Anna said, "Yep."

That was the end of the recording and Anna put her phone back in her pocket and said to Derek, "Believe I have proof now jackass?" Derek just stared at her and then after a few minutes he said, "I'm sorry Jo. I was just looking out for you and yes you can move in with your mate." Derek smiled sincerely but his eyes had sadness in them. Anna had tears in her eyes and said to Logan, "Can I move in tomorrow? I want to spend one last time with my ape of a brother." Logan smiled and said, "Yeah. I gotto go but I'll pick you up later ok?" She nodded and pecked his lips and with that Logan left.

I turned to Anna, "WHEN DID YOU GET MARKED?" She blushed and said, "Last night." I squeled and went to hug her after that I pushed her at arms length and asked her suspiciously, "What did Logan mean by picking you up 'later'?" Anna said quietly, "He's taking me to prom."

Me and Alex squeled while Derek covered his ears and groaned, "Ugh..... like you girls couldn't get any louder." We chuckled and then we spent the whole afternoon wondering what was gonna happen at prom and then we had an hour to go.

Alex said, "All right! Battle stations people! Time to show them how to work a dress!" We chuckled and went to my room cause Derek wanted to changed as well.

We all wore our dresses. Alex had put a bit more make up but it wasn't noticeable and wore beige stilletos. Anna wore light make up like me and wore black ballet flats.

After that, I turned my back to him and felt him staring at me. I went to the the person in charge of the music and asked him. He smiled to me and said sure. He nodded and put it on.
