"No. I want cheerios' and I want my daddy to feed me" she said pushing the cereal bowl that was in front of her away.

I had had to hire Nancy the Nanny to help me with Zoe. She was kind, very patient and gentle with Zoe and had been Zoe's nanny for 4 years but as Zoe grew older she seemed to dislike Nancy and I did not understand why.

As young as Zoe was, I could tell that she like me missed her mother more than words could say and I guess because she did not fully understand what happened she like me kept hoping that one day Meghan would walk into the door.

I hated that Zoe felt like that, I hated that even though I was now seeing Susan who I had met 3 months ago and she loved and adored Zoe, it just never seemed to be enough. Susan showered Zoe with gifts and did her best, but Zoe also never warmed up to her.

I went and lifted Zoe from behind

"Daddy" she shouted and gave my hairy face tight hug with her small baby hands.

"Zoe you are going to kill your old man with those hugs you give me "I joked, and she laughed

"What wrong princess?" I asked her as I sat her in the chair and I sat next to her.

"I want you to feed me" she said with sad eyes

"I wish I could little mama, but I have to go to work" I said, and she bent her head

"That's what you always say" she said sadly

"Hey, don't be sad baby. Tell you what; when you come back from the school trip you are going to we can go grab some Burger King "I said

Her face lit up and it seemed her mood brightened up as well. She stood up and gave me another big hug and as she did I rubbed my Hairy beard on her cheek and she started laughing. I loved seeing her smile she was the only reason I woke up and got on with life. Zoe looked more and more like Meghan, her green eyes, nose, her smile. Zoe was the mini version of Meghan and I was sure Meghan would have loved to see her. I remembered the days Meghan was pregnant with Zoe and all she did was talk about how she wished Zoe would look like her. And now her wish had come true, but she was no longer around to see it. Meghan had at some point made me promise that should anything happen to her that I would take care or Zoe with all my heart no matter what and that I would live for her. I kind of felt like I let her down and that I did not kept my promise because all I ever did was work, I had very little time for Zoe.

"Okay lil mama I have to go now" I said and kissed her chubby cheeks

"Eat all your food ok. If you don't you will not grow, and you will stay little for the rest of your life, is that what you want" I joked and played with her neatly done hair

"Daddy, it took forever to do my hair" she complained and pushed my hand way

"sorry baby, now eat ok" I said then kissed her cheeks and walked away

Tristan POV

"Okay let her wait for me in my office while I finish my meeting" I told him, and he walked away quickly

"I told you never to come to my office unless I tell you to. I don't know why you always feel the need to disturb me while I am working" I almost shouted at her

"I am sorry babe, I missed you we haven't seen each other in a week" she said and put her hands around me and continued "don't you miss me like I missed you, I didn't mean to disturb you, I thought you were not busy since it is Friday" she said and tried to kiss me but I turned my head to the side and removed her hands.

Her breath smelt of hard liquor and cigarettes I felt like I was going to throw up.

"Look Susan I do miss you, but I also have work to do and those people I have a meeting with are very important in my business"

"I was not aware, how about we have lunch today at Grand cafe. Please it has been long since we talked" she pleaded

"Okay fine but not for too long I have a meeting at 14:30"

"Perfect" she said then kissed my lips.

Me and Susan have been dating for some time and I want to put a ring on it because I feel like Zoe needs a motherly figure. Susan is a model and has worked with Victoria "s secret at one point and was well know but she has never told me what happened to her. We met at one of my friend's charity events and we hit it off from there. The only problem I have is that Meghan is still occupying a huge portion of me heart and mind and sometimes I feel I am being unfair to Susan.
