"But you didn't freeze," he leaned up on his one elbow and wrapped his other arm around waist gently. Which is what we are going for isn't it?"

She licked her lips as she glanced down at his lips. "Yeah." Her voice came out huskily. She felt his arousal press against her again but she didn't freak out this time.

He slowly sat up and cupped her cheek with the hand that wasn't around her. He rubbed his thumb gently against her reddened cheek. He watched her eyes glance at his lips again. He rubbed her perfect kissable pink lips with the same thumb. The next thing he knew she was leaning in and closer to him. Her lips brushed his in a slow, sensual kiss, not demanding and uncertain.

His hands both tangled in her hair gently and he kissed her back slowly. God he was insane, this was his boss' kid sister and he hadn't even told her he saved her the first time. He groaned as his desire strained tightly against his jeans and between the juncture of her thighs. "Sam," he gasped out when he managed to get control of himself. "Sam, sweetheart."

She looked at him quickly and scrambled from his lap quickly. "I'm so sorry." She sat back in the grass her cheeks flaming.

He laid his hand on her thigh gently. "You're fine, I wanted it to." He whispered.

She grabbed her sketch book and pencils then dove back into her work. She felt so stupid, why would she kiss him? He was too mysterious, she relaxed though when instead of him running away from her he slid an arm around her shoulders pulling her closer to him.

"You're an amazing drawler."

"Thanks."

He kneaded her shoulder gently. "You okay?"

"Yep." She wasn't okay, she was completely embarrassed by her actions.

They sat there in silence. Blake watched her hand work the pencil against the pad. The next thing they knew she laid her head against his shoulder.

Blake smiled as he turned his head so his nose was closer to her hair. Her scent was so intoxicating. "How bad to you want to see the man who saved you?" He whispered.

"I wouldn't complain, I just want to talk to him, ask him why."

"Why he helped?"

"Yeah." She whispered turning her head rubbing her face against his arm gently.

Blake was so close to reveling himself when Aaron shouted from the house.

The anger flew through Aaron when he saw Blake and Sam sitting the way they were. "Samantha, the pizza is done!" He shouted so loud it echoed.

Sam jumped in Blake's arms, she closed her eyes. "Thank you for today Blake, I'll see you later." She headed towards the house after she packed all her things in her brief case. She headed towards the lecture she was sure she was about to get.

"And what the hell was all of that out there?" Aaron demanded crossing his arms trying to look stern.

"We were just talking and I'm a little tired after today."

"Samantha, he's going to break your heart."

"Aaron I'm a big girl and it's my heart to give to break if I wish!" Sam yelled at her brother, how dare he try to tell her who she could and couldn't fall for or give her heart to.

"He can't expect us to be in such close quarters without talking about something's and I've been around when you've gotten upset about the phone calls."

Sam laid the pan and eggs on the store getting ready to start breakfast. "I don't know what he expected, maybe we should just cool it a little since he apparently thinks I'm crushing on you."

"Yeah I guess, but he should know by now I'm not a relationship kind of person at all." Blake sat the plates and bacon down and went to grab another pan. When he turned back around he saw Sam's shoulders slumped a little. Oh no what did he do? "Sam?"

"What?"

"You okay?"

"Fine."

"Don't lie to me."

"I'm not."

"Bull."

"Bull yourself." She started the eggs and bacons.

"Sam, I'm sorry, I'm not dependable, I can't be there when I'm needed."
