"Okay." A soon as Blake opened the door she hit the power lock button and watched him walk into the restaurant. She closed her eyes tightly, why was she fooling herself? He wouldn't leave this town for her, she had to eventually go back to Denver, to her job, to her home. This 'date' was a terrible idea, she was getting too attached to him. She held back the tears, who even knew if they would last long if they tried this, they might be able to do the long distance thing, but they wouldn't last long that way. What was she going to do? She jumped when she heard the knock on the driver window. She looked over quickly and saw Blake, she unlocked the truck and he got in.

"Hey Baby." He said cheerfully as he placed the bag of food on the floor board at her feet.

Sam could only smile at him faintly, the reality had crashed down on her. This was why Aaron had warned them, he knew how this was going to end. She'd be so broken after this, especially since he knew about the stalker, no one else would get it.

Blake turned the truck and headed back to Aaron's.

When they were halfway home he threw a look at her. She was too quiet and just stared out the window. "Sammy," he started tenderly. "What's wrong?"

She shook her head but kept looking out the window. She didn't want to ruin his night as well, she could at least give him a good night together and give him what he'd want one more time. She slid her seat belt off and scooted into the middle seat, she laid her head on his shoulder as she closed her eyes. She'd miss this, his strength his scent that embraced her.

Blake put a hand on her thigh. "Honey you can talk to me about anything."

"Later Blake, I just want to enjoy this, don't want to ruin anything."

He sighed a little. "Okay." He let it drop and pulled up close to the house. He opened the door as Sam grabbed the food and they headed in. he watched her go into the kitchen, he followed, she was already getting silverware and plates out. She dished everything out, he couldn't wait for this to be a scene in their house. He smiled, went up behind her, and wrapped his arms around her bending down to kiss her cheek. "I'm the luckiest man in the world." He whispered against her ear. "I get a delicious, much deserved supper, oh and I get to eat it with a very beautiful woman." He brushed his nose against her cheek gently.

Sam flipped the spoon with some mashed potatoes still on it, in a backwards motion and it covered Blake's nose. She squealed a little when he rubbed his nose all over her cheek, wiping the potatoes on her. He gently kissed the spots of mashed potatoes and licked them off his lips. "Mmmmm, even more delicious off of you, come on let's go eat." He grabbed the plates and headed towards the living room. His mind kept nagging at him to tell her but after they at least ate.

After they ate Blake took the plates to the kitchen, then put the food that was left over away. He took a deep breath and swallowed hard as he made his way over to the couch. Sam had already picked a movie but was more focused on him. He sat down beside her but kept a distance between them.

"Blake?" She frowned trying to figure out what was the matter, they had sat closer during dinner.

"Sam, let me get this out, what if I told you I know who saved you in that garage, and that I could get you to talk to him?" He started at the floor, his elbows braced on his knees.

"I know Aaron did, I told him what happened that day when I got back, he didn't know anything really until you got those flowers," he ran a hand over his face. "When you first showed up, I thought you followed me, when I realized you didn't I didn't want you to find out I stopped him the first day, then we got thrown together for the most part, and I didn't want it to be a big deal that I helped you before, I started to fall for you and care for you, everything changed, I knew I had to tell you."

"Blake I would have been even more grateful towards you, that's all but you lied to me, you had plenty of opportunities to tell me."

"I know Honey."

"You didn't though, you kept the biggest secret you could from me," she back away even more. "I can't do this, you made love me, touched me in ways no one else had, and you still didn't tell me." She turned and went upstairs, slamming her bedroom door locking it. She had been made a fool of, she had to leave now, there had to be somewhere he wouldn't find her.

Her phone began to ring. She lifted it off the dresser. Blocked ID. She sighed and answered. "Hello?"

"They just won't let you out of that house now will they?" The crackled voice crooned a little. "I miss seeing you, that's why I put the camera in your room."
