Blake straightened quickly clenching his jaw when he saw that brown hair with the strange highlights whip around from the gentle breeze. He stomped back into the barn. How the hell had she found him? Why couldn't she just be grateful and move on instead of tracking him down.

Sam stared after the man who walked away, she didn't know how to react. She slowly walked up to the house. She raised her hand hesitantly then knocked on the door loudly.

As soon as she saw her brother open the door all other feelings left her. "Aaron!"

"Sammy, what are you doing here?" Aaron rushed out the door and grabbed her, lifting her off the ground and spun her around with ease.

Feeling his arms around her felt so good, she wrapped her arms around his neck tightly. "I just missed you and had some time to take off work, so I figured I'd come visit."

"Awesome, I've missed you baby sis," he sat her back down and held her at arm's length. "But what on earth did you do to your hair?" Aaron couldn't help but stare at the weird colors throughout her hair.

"I just wanted something different." She smiled up at her big brother.

"Of course you did, so tell me about this fantastic job that's kept you away for so long." He smiled at his little shorty.

"I just got promoted actually, I'm assistant lead designer, it's so amazing, I get to do a lot of drawling and throw out new ideas all the time."

"Wow twenty-nine and you're doing so much, while me thirty-six is just doing the ranch thing."

"But Aaron, you're very successful too, this place is absolutely beautiful and amazing, and you're really living your dream, I'm sure Jaimie can't stay away from you." She saw the light flicker in Aaron's green eyes at the mention of his girlfriend's name.

"Yeah, she's one amazing woman," he smiled at the thought of Jaimie, he was missing her a lot here lately though. "Hey, I got someone you should definitely meet."

"Oh?" Curiosity sparked through her instantly. Aaron hardly ever had someone she should meet. They knew all the same people around here.

Aaron smiled and headed out towards the barn, she'd love this random surprise he had just come up with. He wrapped his arm around her shoulders as they walked out to the barn.

Sam took in the ranch better, it was so green and everything from the two story gray house to the well-kept gray barns fit perfectly.

Just as they got to the barn two men walked out, the one who was leaning against the corral when she showed up and another one who was all too familiar. "Brady?" She gasped a little.

"Oh my Aaron, where have you been hiding this beauty?" Brady Jackson teased.

"Brady!" She said excitedly as she rushed over to him throwing her arms around him affectionately.

Blake stood there biting the inside of his cheek as jealousy flew through him seeing the woman he saved hugging someone else. He bit harder trying to push the feeling away

Brady wrapped his arms around her tightly. "How's my favorite little short stuff? Pretty bad I still tower over you even when you have heels on." He laughed.

"Ha, ha, you're so funny, and I'm not too bad, I see my brother still has you picking up the slack for him." Sam teased, she completely felt as ease now, not even the old feelings she had had for Brad returned, what his sexy green eyes used to do to her, she smiled.

Blake stared at the woman, he now knew s Sam, she was Aaron's sister? So she hadn't tracked him down, it all was just a coincidence. He still was struggling with the jealousy feeling.

"Ha, ha so funny yourself Samantha." Aaron shoved his sister a little. "Oh and this is Blake, Blake Camden, he's been here for a couple years now."

Blake jerked himself out of his racing thoughts and held out his hand to Sam. "Hello."

"But Sammy, you're on vacation, you should be relaxing." Brady tried to talk her out of helping also.

Sam frowned at them both. "Why are you guys treating me so different? I'm not some lazy city slicker or a girly girl, I can help."

"Sammy, we're not, we just want you to not overdo it and actually relax." Aaron went to lay his hand on her shoulder.

Sam moved away and turned away from them, this wasn't what she wanted when she came here. Why did everyone treat her like she was incapable of doing anything. Then again she supposed she couldn't, she had to rely on that complete stranger earlier. She closed her eyes tightly as he headed towards the barn, folding her arms across her chest.

Blake stood in the shadows of the barn just inside the entrance way. He hung on every word exchanged between his boss, co-worker, and the woman he had saved. He kept his gaze on that woman he now knew as Sam. He must have been wrong to think she was okay when he left her. Now he wished he had been more reassuring and comforting to her, it was too later for that now. He'd just have to watch himself carefully and make sure he kept his sunglasses on around her. From her reaction she didn't recognize him at all and that was good. He sighed he didn't know how he was going to pull it off though, especially since Aaron volunteered him to play babysitter. He watched Sam walk briskly towards the barn with Brady right behind her. The pang of jealousy stabbed at him again as he watched Brady wrap his arm around Sam pulling her close to him. He turned away quickly and started to check the horses before he'd start the fed.

"Sammy, what's going on short stuff, you've never been this sensitive." Brady pulled Sam closer to him squeezing her shoulder.

Sam tensed up when she felt restrained. "Nothing, I just didn't expect to be treated like such a girl when I showed up, I used to be just one of you guys, now apparently I'm not." They kept walking towards the barn, they just got inside when she was stopped and pushed against a stall. She tried hard not to freak out. "Brady quit, I don't want to do this right now."

Brady had his hands pressed against the boards beside her head keeping her pinned. "Oh come on Sammy, I want to understand what's going on."

"Nothing is going on, I just want left alone." She pushed back against Brady hard but he didn't move.

Brady knew there was something she wasn't telling, he moved closer he knew he could get her to tell him one way. He moved his head and lips closer to hers.

Sam reached up and smacked him hard against his cheek. "Leave me alone Brady, I'm not the silly little girl who had a crush on you, now leave me alone."
