Sam's breath caught in her lungs, she couldn't confide in anyone, no matter how tempting it was. "I'm good for now, thanks though."

"Okay, well the offer stands as long as you're here, but I am going to head back to bed I think, got an early morning."

"Yeah I guess I should head back inside, again I'm sorry for waking you." She wished she knew what color his eyes were. She slowly moved her hand up to his shoulder close to taking his sunglasses off.

Blake realized what Sam was trying to do but he grabbed her wrist quickly and pulled her towards him wrapping his arm around her back and kept a hold of her wrist. "That's not a good idea, I'm sensitive to light so I keep these on a lot."

Sam blushed bright red, she pulled away from him. "Sorry." She mumbled and turned away from him practically running from the barn.

Aaron was standing at the chrome sink getting a drink of water in the kitchen. He glanced outside through the medium size window above the sink. He saw something move in front of the barn. He narrowed his gaze and realized it was Sam. He frowned when he saw the lights turn off in the barn, what on earth was going on? She wasn't even here for a full day and she was already trying something with Blake? He couldn't believe what he was seeing, she was more careful than this he thought. He shook his head, obviously he was going to have to have a talk again with Blake and now Sammy, this was going to be a long visit.

Blake leaned against the door frame after shutting the lights off. He pushed his sunglasses to the top of his head. He rubbed a hand over his face, he didn't know how long he could keep this up. She deserved to know the truth, he was going to slip up eventually or break down and tell her. He shut the door and headed back up to his bed, taking the stairs this time. He kicked his boots off and laid his sunglasses on his stand and fell into bed.

Sam slipped her heels back off before going back into the house. She closed the door quietly then headed up to her room. She threw her heels on the chair in the corner and laid down covering up tightly. She had goose bumps all over her from the cold, or was it the cold? She turned her head into the pillow, closing her eyes, and fell asleep again.

Aaron just stood at the sink as he watched the door close. He watched her walk up to the house? Everything was becoming very confusing, it was like Blake was trying to make sure she got to the house safely, the minute she walked in and shut the door the barn door closed. Blake had told him himself he was no good for Sammy so he wasn't about to fall for her, but his actions were suggesting otherwise. Maybe he had made a mistake with thinking Blake was safe to pawn Sammy off on. He'd just have to nip everything in the butt in the morning. He shook his head and headed down to his bedroom.

Sam jerked awake again, she glanced at the clock on the oak nightstand beside her queen size bed. She groaned when the clock shinned it's red numbers at her, eleven am, she have felt bad for sleeping in, she was supposed to help Blake today. She already felt like going back to sleep already though. She supposed a shower would wake her up more, her thoughts halted real quick as she moved and felt her skirt ride up her thighs.

She cursed under her breath, she had to go do her least favorite thing. Sopping. She sat up slowly then got out of bed. She pulled her skirt down to its regular resting place, just above her knees.

She grabbed her heels and headed out of her room then down the steps. She loved of feeling the plush tan carpet between her toes and under her feet, it was so soft. She walked through the living room to the kitchen and grabbed a glass to get a drink of water. She searched the drawers for a pen and paper.

She finally found what she was looking for, she slipped her heels onto her feet to give them some relief from the cold gray tile flooring. She headed over to the huge cherry kitchen table, she slumped down in the chair and bean to make a list of everything she would need for her temporary stay:

~Bras-2

~Underware-3

~Jeans-3

~Shirts-3

"You're lucky, he only lets me do that, he must like you."

Sam turned towards the voice. "Blake?"

"How you feeling, did you get something to eat?"

Sam was taken aback by the question. "Um no, I'm going to get something in town, I have to go get a few things just figured kill two birds with one stone, have you seen Aaron?"

"He had to leave a while ago, is there something I can help you with?"

"Uh no, I was just going to let him know I was leaving, I'll be back later." She kicked a piece of straw with her pointed toe of her heel.

Blake smiled. "Do you want company or do you just want me to tell him you'll be back later?"

Sam tossed the option back and forth but decided against it. "No, I think I'll manage, thank you for letting him know where I am if he gets back before I do, I'll see you later." She turned away quickly and headed towards her truck. She hopped up in with ease then headed towards town.
