"He's not so bad..." Chance blushed whipping the snow from his body, I picked up Milo's jacket handing it to him as he nodded in thanks. His brown curls were filled with a nest of snow, the white particles along his caramel skin that was turning pale against the cold seemed to melt at his low body temperature. He pressed his lips into a line trying to hide his embarrassment, It was too cute that I had unconsciously reached over and ruffled his hair under my hand.

I had understood why Milo was so fascinated with him, even though his human appearance was the total opposite of his wolf form, he had a strong aura to draw though attention to him with his fur and dazzling eyes. His eyes betrayed his silky white coat that made both him and his wolf pulchritudinous. It was hard to forget a beauty like that, and him not knowing any of this made him more cute. "Okay!" Forrest pulled me apart from Chance in anger, "Stop petting him so damn much!"

I snickered placing my head on Forrest's head, "Would you like it that I pet you instead?" He blushed nodding, I laughed uncontrollably at him. Pouting he stomped away, "Wai-! Forrest-!" I stifled between my laughs running after him, even if Chance was cute, he couldn't compare up to Forrest.

"I'm tired of that bastard!" he hissed out of pure jealousy causing me to laugh again, "Stop doing that!" Truth was, Forrest loved Chance as a brother just like me. Even if he was weak, he was still our friend and I don't see why people just throw him away due to his tribe status. I wrapped my arms around Forrest, his tall frame dragging me behind him.

"You don't."

"I do!"

"You don't, in fact," I pulled him to a stop wrapping my arms around his chest as I rested my head on his back enjoying his warmth. "You're proud he shifted today." Without needing a reply I knew he was blushing as the words gradually settled in. "We're all proud of him." I said nearly humming against his back, "I'm happy..." I started to say something else but they all came out as mumbles as I had no idea what I just said, I was nearly falling asleep on his back while standing up, I loved him.

"Silas," Forrest pried my arms off turning to face me, I looked up captivated by him, everything about him made me numb to my feet, "It hurts not being with you." I nodded snuggling into his arms, "I want to make it official-"

Silas ran over to me before his attention was snapped away by the thud that Austin's body caused when 3 Alpha's knocked him back. "STOP!" Silas screamed at them as they turned to him, "THIS ISN'T A FAIR FIGHT!"

One of the alpha's had shifted and even as a human he was intimidating. He was twice Austin's size, his broad shoulders stood above his muscular tall frame, and if that didn't scare me his voice surely did as he spoke, "You're on our hunting grounds, pup-"

Austin stood as half of them shifted to there human forms, "Hunting grounds our not, this is the path to the mountains."

I shook my head grabbing Milo's hand praying that the blood was just an illusion even though the warm liquid covered my arms, "Please..." I begged as Milo breathing became hasty, "Please...heal him..." I could feel the alpha's attention on me as the one who threaten us with his appearance made way to Milo. Austin blocked his pathway glaring him down as the fight howls released from the tribe in front.
