“W-what ever...” I wiped my face clear of the water sighing. Something brushed against my lower back as I felt Austin enclose the space in-between us. I squirmed in place before turning around to push him back. I meant to hit him but instead he used all of the force in his body to grab my wounded hand. I was prepared to wince at the pain that would soon invade my palm but nothing happened. Austin unwrapped the grey cloth revealing a slight faded mark where the gash used to be. Even if it did close there was a slight bluish bruise surrounded the line that went diagonally across my palm.
He muttered something before bringing my hand up to his lips, his tongue slowly sliding across the bruise, leaving slight a travel of his saliva. I stiffened in shock, staring as he basically molested my palm with his tongue. He showed me my palm with a grin on his face, “The scar should be gone by tomorrow.”
“Uh huh…...” I stared at my hand not knowing what to say. I mean, I should say thank you but… was all that really necessary? I pulled out of his grip, splashing my hand in the water to get his trace off.
“Chance,” I glanced up at him, his body only a centimeter from mine. I could fell every nerve in my body vibrate with a great sensation under my skin. He grabbed my cheeks pulling them in an opposite direction as I tried to scream but it only came out as mumbled words, “You’re,” he slipped his hand under my chin pulling my face closer to his. My brain malfunction at that exact moment. I could feel his breathing on my skin, his nose brushed against mine as he tilted his head.
“A-Austin, Wait—!!” He shot back from me looking over to the trees with a worried expression. He turned to the other side looking at the trees again, this time a hint of panic in his face. “...Austin...?”
“Shhh!” He shushed harshly as I sunk my body down into the water a little. “Fuck….” Tightly wrapping his hand around my arm he dragged me out of the water, I shrieked silently at his naked body closing my eyes, “Get dressed, now!”
“Wh-what? why...? What’s going on?”
“Chance just do it!” I scurried to get my clothes on not even thinking about him seeing my body anymore. Something was up and he was scaring the crap out of me! He growled, already dressed in his shorts and damped shirt. “Come on,” He grabbed my hand pulling me along side of the river.
“Austin, what’s going on?!”
“Please, just for once shut up.” he hissed in a low voice, what the hell asshole!? My blood began to boil, as I grew angry, he was probably just trying to hide the fact that he tried to kiss me! I snatched my arm back but failed once he snatched it forward, pulling me into the forest.
“I won’t follow if you don’t tell me what’s going on!!” I pulled my entire body back as he let go, causing me to stumble backwards. “I swear, you’re such an asshole some times!”
“I’m not going to let you die,” he said calmly pushing both of us back slowly. Branches behind us snapped as we turned to see the rest of the grey wolf’s pack. “Never mind…I take that back…”
I pushed my body closer to Austin’s as the wolves began to enclose the space between their sharp teeth and us, “You remember when I said I thought you were going to eat me?”
“Yesterday,” He snorted.
“What ever, I really didn’t mean it...”
“Not like that matters now,” a howl released from the wolves as the giant grey bastard leaped at us, taking the first move. I tightened my grip on Austin’s shirt shutting my eyes in fear.
