Jayda felt uncomfortable as Fred was trying to untangle himself from her. She was sleeping so peacefully and he didn't want to disturb her. He wanted to be careful and head to the bathroom to prepare for work.
When Jayda woke up, she tangled herself to him even more but little did he realise that it was intentional until she chuckled.
"Jayda," Fred called her name then she hummed a response. "I need to get ready for work so can you please leave me alone?"
"Never," she giggled then hooked her leg around his and hugged him tighter, snuggling closer to him with her head pressed against his chest.
Fred groaned then didn't know what to do anymore.
"Please." He begged but she wasn't ready to listen.
Jayda kissed his cheek with a very bright smile that he appreciated. "I love you."
"Me too." He whispered with sincerity.
"I hope you're no longer mad at me. I can't stand that. I'll break your bones if you still are." She sighed.
"I'm not." He smiled then started twirling a lock of her hair around his index finger. "I can't stay mad at my Queen for that long."
"Thank goodness." She was feeling sleepy again and was almost snoring.
"Will you let me go?" He asked.
"Can't you wait. It's probably four in the morning," she groaned.
"No, it's 2am." He corrected her.
"What?!" She exclaimed. "Why are you leaving so early?"
"I have to attend a very important meeting in another city so I have to go early but I'll be back tonight."
"I'll miss you." She confessed.
"I'll miss you too, my love." He chuckled. The vibration of his chuckle from his chest made her smile. She adored her husband so much.
Fred remembered that it was Jayda who was on him and not a rock that he couldn't lift. He scooped her in his arms then rose to his feet, lifting her up and threw her back to the bed.
She screamed during the period of that unexpected action from him.
"Hey!" She lowered her eyebrows with her lips pursed.
"I have to get to work." He smirked then arched his back to kiss her cheek, gently rubbing his nose against hers before kissing her on the lips.
"That's very sweet of you but... I can't wait for breakfast. It will take a while and I'll be late which is something I don't want to happen." He admitted.
"Oh." She was disappointed but then brushed it off with a smile. "No problem."
She helped him adjust his tie and kissed him again with his hands on her waist.
"I wanted to tell you something." She said.
The seriousness in her voice made him have more interest in what she had to say. "Go on." He ushered.
"Whenever you go out, I'm always so bored of staying at home and I have nowhere to go. Freya is usually at work so I decided that I want to start working. With my qualifications, I can get a good job, the one with a good salary as well and I can use that to support the household expenses too." She said.
"That's very thoughtful of you." He nodded. "I don't have a problem with you working. Do you have anywhere you'd love to work at? Just tell me the name of the firm and I'll make sure you get a job there." He assured.
"What? No," she frowned shortly. "I want to find a job and work. I don't want you to find one for me."
"Okay, if you say so. Just let me know anyway I can be of help and tell me the company's name when you get a job for me to properly check them out whether they're safe and legal." He said.
"I will. Thank you. Now, don't forget that you have to attend to work." She beamed.
He kissed her again before letting her go. She accompanied him till he got to his car and drove away.
