Maxwell pinned his thumb and middle finger into Fred's cheeks, hurting him with his fingernails. "Also, if you don't kill him, I'll kill your stupid mother and sister, I'll stop paying for your education fees and I'll finally kill you. After doing all that, I'll kill him myself. Don't you dare try to play smart with me," he threatened.

"I can't do it." Fred cried.

Maxwell slapped him across the face harshly. "Are you mad?" He jammed his hands into his pockets then sighed.

He dialed a number on his phone and called it. "This is Maxwell. I want you to know that I might call you back because I'm giving my son five minutes to make a decision. If he doesn't make the right decision, I'll call you to let you know that you should immediately kill my wife."

"Your wife?"

"Yes. Then, I'll give him another five minutes, if he doesn't do it, kill my daughter, Cora. Make sure their death is a very painful one, okay?" He smirked.

"Yes, sir."

"No! No! Not Mom and Cora. Fine," he trailed off then nodded positively. "I'll do it."

"That's my boy." He patted his head.

With that, Fred was forced to kill Marcus with his own hands.

After that, the money was given to Maxwell who gave it to Fred to start a new business then Maxwell left and Fred heard that his father had died.

Back to the present...

Fred explained all of that to Jayda.

"W-wh... oh my... Jesus!" Jayda stuttered, dropping the knife to the floor because her hands started to vibrate.

"You mean... you– you killed my father... and you're the cause of my mother's sickness?" Her legs instantly became weak.

"Jayda, it wasn't–" she raised her hand up in the air to stop him from talking.

"Don't you dare come closer to me or think of touching me. Don't talk to me!" She yelled, breathing heavily.

"That means you already knew when I was running away from Roland? Why then did you pretend? Why did you make me fall in love with you, murderer!" She screamed.

"No, I promise you that I didn't know about that. A lot of people owe Roland money so I didn't even think about it." He shook his head, stylishly advancing towards her.

"I said stay back!" She screamed when she noticed he was moving closer to her.

There was a flower vase on a table by the wall of the door so she picked it up then threw it towards him which made him move back and dodged it.

She quickly unlocked the door then started to run downstairs, running as fast as she could.

Jayda was completely heartbroken. She felt like the whole world was against her. She just heard Fred's disheartening story and now, the only family member she had left was gone?

Jayda tried to convince herself that it wasn't possible. Tears had already clouded her face. She was crying her eyes out as she increased the speed at which she was moving.

Fred was more than worried. This was exactly why he didn't want to let Jayda know about it. He did his research on Marcus completely to confirm if he was actually the Marcus he killed and it was him.

Fred blamed himself for being stupid for telling her the truth. The speed at which she was driving wasn't good at all.

After he lost track of Jayda as a result of what wasn't close to what he could process at all, he still drove around but there was no sign of Jayda and he didn't know where she was. He tried calling her but he couldn't get through to her.

Fred had immediately called some professionals to track Jayda down.

Fred's phone started to ring then he stared at it. His eyes grew wider in shock when it happened to be Jayda that was calling him. He never expected that at all.

He immediately answered the call. "Jayda? Where are you now? I said I'm sorry." He said at a go.

"Hello. I called your number because she saved your number as 'Hubby Honey' so I assume you're her husband. The owner of this phone was involved in a brutally terrible car accident. She's severely injured. She's now at the city Hospital." A totally unfamiliar female voice said through Jayda's phone.

What the hell?!
