In them, it mirrored my wolf. A furry spotless white Wolf with blue eyes. Lupus nudged me with his snout while we rubbed our bodies against each other. Basking in our warmth and sparks. Lupus was especially wild, dancing about and claiming dominion over me while Aubrey was the love drunk one, melting by her Alpha's love and affection.
And after several playful tours about Greenville, we finally rested in our favorite spot. The west boundary of Greenville, where the valley were. The most greenest part of Greenville.
We leaned against a rock metres away the cliff. I leaned against Kevin's chest touring my fingers across his rock hard chest. Kevin on the other hand was busy streamlining his fingers across my hair.
"Lupus is a wild one." He started.
"I agree!" I chuckled in response.
"He's the better version of me, stronger, smarter and of course reasonable." He pursed his lips. "That's why sometimes when I take rash decisions, he takes control of me." I smiled. "Remember, the second time we met?"
"Yeah at school." I mumbled, briefly reminiscing about our first ever argument.
"I didn't want to come but then, Lupus forced me." He chuckled.
"What!" I exclaimed, laughing too. "But look at us now. We're one." I bonded my palm with his.
"Aubrey is the reserved version. She likes to be treated like a queen."
"And it befits you. She's perfect. I like her fur, so pure and beautiful." He muttered before kissing my head.
"You know, I've once jumped between this cliff." He mumbled after long minutes of silence. I raised my head with a slight frown. This cliff was basically impossible for anyone to jump but my mate did!
"It was the night we first met, the night I killed Alpha Jason."
"My Goodness, you're crazy!" I pitched struck in a limbo to be amazed or horrified. "What if you had died?" My tone followed on a weaker note.
"Then I wouldn't have met you. Perhaps why the moon goddess helped me that night." He smiled sadly and I understood why.
I leaned back to his chest, playing with his fingers.
"I don't want you to be taking such rash decisions anymore, Kev." I whispered.
"I promise."
"I'm serious Kev. I don't want to lose you." I reinstated. "I don't." And he kissed my forehead softly again.
"Aren't you ever worried I killed Alpha Jason. My step uncle." He mumbled in a worriedly fashion. That was it, the reason for his sad smile.
"Nope." I chattered. Perhaps I wasn't worried because of the wars I have fought, the deaths I've seen as a commander while in Moonsville.
"It was a duel, and I knew you didn't want to kill him. No matter how much you hated him. But you didn't have any choice either. He would have killed you."
"You have to meet my family. I've already been marked and very soon, you'll want to crown me as your Luna." I pursed my lips, deliberating whether to tell him who I truly was.
"At least let our parents bless us first."
"You're right," He mumbled after several minutes.
"how about we leave tomorrow then?"
I gulped down my saliva, hoping my fears would allay alongside.
"What of your mother?"
"Mother has already accepted you, we would visit after we return." He assured but it didn't allay my fears. My true identity was a bother.
"I guess it's fine then." I feigned a smile. "Tomorrow we leave for Moonsville."
As those words toured out of my mouth, I knew I wouldn't be able to tell him.
Tomorrow was definitely going to a day of unending surprises for both my Father and Kevin.
