"Jaelyn may I see you in my office?" Ethan interrupts my dark thoughts, smiling sadly at me.

"Office?" I question. As this is my first day in this house I don't know where anything is. He smiles, grabbing my hand.

"Just follow me." he laughs, pulling me along. I follow him until we reach a large black wooden door. We step inside and I take a moment to admire the room. The walls were a creamy white, like the bedroom I woke up in, but the carpet was a deep shade of grey, along with his desk. It was actually quite beautiful in here. Much more organized than my old alphas office. Thinking of my old pack almost brings tears to my eyes, but I quickly force myself to shrug it off when I see Ethan staring at me. A strange expression on his face. "Yes?"

"Well you have met most of us. Were a very small pack, but were strong and we don't allow people in easily." He states looking down. He seems to be holding something back. "Our pack name is the Half-moon pack." My eyes widen at his words. Of course I recognize the name. The Half-moon pack is one of strongest pack in America.

"Ethan. I don't belong here. I'm not strong enough to be in this pack." I say making him give me a nervous look.

"Jaelyn you're a white wolf." He blurts out almost too quickly for me to catch. But I do, as shock courses through me. How is that possible?

"What? No. I can't be a white wolf. White wolfs are the strongest wolves in the world. You said that if you weren't there, I wouldn't have survived my shift. I'm too weak." I begin to ramble again nervously until he starts chuckling slightly. I immediately stop and glare at him. "What are you laughing at? This isn't funny."

"I'm laughing because you ramble alot when you're nervous. But you do have a point. You wouldn't have survived without me. But not because you aren't strong. Because your wolf was too hurt from being rejected. She didn't want to live so she was refusing to help with the shift." He explains.

My thoughts are overwhelming as I reach for the bed, legs start to feel wobbly and my vision starts to go black. I had to sit down. But my thoughts are too much. I can't be a white wolf, and I can't be part of the strongest pack in America. I just can't. None of this makes any sense.

I hear Ethan saying something but I cant seem to make it out before my vision goes away completely and I feel myself falling.
