"Well, I'd like the beluga sturgeon caviar. Oh, and the lobster and bluefin tuna as well. Do you have any wine from Château Léoville-Barton? If so, bring a bottle," my date said to the waiter.

A frown creased my forehead at her extravagant food orders.

Just the caviar alone would cost me an arm and a leg.

But she didn't stop there. The wine she just mentioned ran at least ten thousand dollars.

It was clear she was not genuinely interested in this blind date. She was here solely to indulge in high-end delicacies.

Seeing her relentless ordering, I quickly interjected, "Maybe that's enough. I don't think we can finish all of this."

She rolled her eyes, dismissing my comment. "Oh, come on! Don't be stingy when you're out with a girl. Can't you afford it or something?"

"You..." Her brazen attitude left me utterly speechless.

Then, a light bulb went off in my head. I chuckled and loosened my grip on the menu. "If that's how you want to play it, go ahead. I just don't want to waste food. Order whatever you'd like."

"Wait a second. When do you usually get tips?" I asked.

The waiter looked taken aback before responding, "Whenever you like, sir. As long as you're happy with my service. You can tip me when you pay the bill."

I nodded and pulled out a thick wad of cash.

The waiter's eyes widened in disbelief. "Sir, are you sure? Three thousand dollars... That seems a bit excessive, don't you think?"
