I glanced across at Liza to see a complicated look decorating her face. Her hands were fiddling nervously in front of her as we left to head back to the police station.

I knew this probably worried her sick considering how close she's gotten with both father and daughter lately and my heart clenched as I watched her sick expressions.

I just really hoped that when all of this was over, Bea came out of it perfectly unscathed.

"Where's Dawson?" Was the first thing Liza asked as we met up with Abel and Axil at the police station.

Axil came up beside me and wrapped an arm around my waist, pulling me into his side. I glanced across at his face and felt my heart drop slightly at the weariness I saw in his eyes. His body felt tense against me as I felt his fingers rub circles on my side. I could tell he was exhausted.

"We'll think of something," I muttered quietly over our link. He simply shot me a glance but didn't say anything.

I became dispirited.

Abel grimaced and glanced away from Liza's anxious expression, "we had to knock him out and lock him up in the underground cells. We have people keeping watch to make sure he stays there once he wakes up."

To my surprise, Liza sighed in relief then asked, "Can they hold him in his berserk state?"

Abel shrugged, "it'll be more difficult for him to get pass the bars caging him in since they're lined with wolf bane. If he actually manages to break out though then the guards are instructed to knock him out again. I'm sure they'll be able to."

She nodded, as if assured then turned to Axil and I, "so what plan do you guys have? He's asking for Tiana who you killed so how in the world do we get Bea back?"

I muttered begrudgingly, "technically, Abel killed her."

Liza rolled her eyes, "at your command."

I argued, "she knew my identity! I couldn't risk the possibility of her breaking out of there, otherwise this entire town would fall to ruins."

"But the-"

"Girls," Axil said causing Liza and I to turn to stare at him blankly. He continued, "There's no time for this. We have to give Michael what he wants."

Liza frowned in confusion, "a body bag? Are you trying to get Bea killed?"

Axil shook his head, "no, not that. We need a Tiana look alike."

My eyes brightened as Axil shot me a pointed look.

"You want me to clone Tiana?" I asked in excitement.

"Is it possible?" He asked.

"Of course it's possible! All we need is a piece of her hair or something!"

Liza's eyes brightened.

My excitement died down as I began to think realistically.

"However,... it's not so easy. Michael is a smart man and there's a possibility that he might find out before we even do the exchange. You might be able to look like Tiana, but you don't share her memories or know how to act like her. Not only that, but we have to make sure we're actually getting back Bea as well. Whoever would be posing as Tiana would have a high risk of dying if this plan were to go south."

Liza's excitement died down.

Axil furrowed his brows, deep in thought.

Abel sighed, "either way, this is a huge risk. We have to go in prepared to capture Michael and rescue Bea. We can't just let him go once he's right in front of us."

"So, what do you suggest?" Liza asked.

"We can disguise a strong figure as Tiana. Someone that could handle themselves against Michael long enough to slip away."

"It has to be a female," I added.

Abel frowned in thought, "I guess it doesn't hurt to choose one of our female warriors."

"What about Clarissa? She seems like she could hold her own," I suggested 'innocently'.

Axil's arm around my waist tightened as Liza snorted, "you petty bitch. You'd probably let Michael know just so he could kill her."

I shrugged my shoulders and leaned my head against Axil.

Abel cleared his throat, "Clarissa isn't skilled enough for this. I already have a female in mind, don't worry. All we need now is to set the date and prepare for this exchange as much as we could."

A spiteful chuckle escaped my lips, "of course she's not. Pathetic."
