Sin POV:

Lately, I've been thinking more and more about Layla. Hell I haven't even tried to hit on another girl in close to a week. It felt wrong now. I couldn't bring myself to do it.

"Hey, man." My friend, Dorian, said walking up to me. "Hey." I muttered, watching Layla from across the hall.

"Man, that is one fine piece of ass." He said whistling, while staring at Layla. "What did you just say?" I asked angrily. Dorian laughed lightly. "What? I'd like to get in that girl's pants. I bet she would be a freak in the sack." He continued.

"Shut your fucking mouth!" I yelled as I slammed him against the wall.

"What's your problem? You straight up laughed when I told you I fucked Cindy." He said confused. "That's different! Layla isn't like that!" I spat back at him. "You said yourself, you the one and done type of guy right? What's wrong with letting me have a turn?" Dorian asked getting defensive. "No!" I yelled and slammed him on the wall again. "Why?" He asked, angrily. "Because Layla is my mate!"

Dorian held his hands up in defense. "Dude, calm down okay? You rejected her. Why do you care if I try to sleep with her or not?" He asked. "She's mine!" I yelled.

I felt a small hand on my shoulder as tingles spread through my body. "Sin.." It was Layla. Her soft voice in my ears was enough to calm me down. I turned to look at her and my eyes softened. "It's okay. Calm down." She cooed.

All I could manage to do was back away and leave. I was ashamed that she saw me like that.

I finally realized that what I had done was wrong. I never should have rejected her and sure as hell shouldn't have fucked around with girls, knowing how much it hurt her. It was too late, though. The damage was done.

"How about instead of sulking, your ass actually does something about it." My wolf nagged. I sighed knowing he was right, but how the hell am I supposed to do that? Layla hates me.

Layla POV:

"No." He said and looked away from me. "What's wrong?" I asked him. I was too afraid to sit next to him so I just stood in front of him.

"I had no right to do that. Not after everything I've done." He said, somberly. Sin stood and looked at me. He had tears in his eyes.

"Layla... This is all my fault. I hurt you in ways that can't be forgiven, but I fully take back my rejection." He said quickly wiping away the stray tear that fell.

Did he really just say that to me? What changed his mind? I didn't know how to react.

"Sin.. I don't know." I told him. "I know I fucked up, baby. I'm willing to try and make it up to you. Will you let me?" He asked. He really meant everything he said. "Will you give me time to think about it?" I asked him. "Of course. Take all the time you need." He replied and kissed my cheek gently before walking away.

Now what? My wolf wanted me to forgive him right away but I couldn't, knowing he purposefully hurt me. He said he'd give me time, but would he eventually get sick of waiting? I guess we'll find out.
