Layla POV:
Sin's wolf kept control for a quite a while that night. We talked for Goddess knows how long, just getting to know small things about each other. He apologized for everything that Sin had done. He said he felt he didn't do enough to stop him. He was perfect.
The next morning, when I woke up, Sin was sleeping next to me. My eyes widened when I realized it. Mom and dad are going to kill me!
"Sin." I said, shaking his shoulder lightly.
He slowly opened his eyes, looking confused. "Hey." He said and looked around. "How the hell did I get in here?" He asked. "You're wolf took over for a while last night." I replied.
"Shit, baby. I'm sorry." He said. I bit my lip and smiled softly. "Don't be. I should be for not believing in you, Sin." I told him, giving him a small kiss on the lips which he obviously didn't expect.
"It's okay, baby. I get it. If it were reversed I probably wouldn't believe it either." He replied, wrapping his arms around me.
His eyes widened after a few moments. "Shit!" He said and jumped up. "Your parents are going to kill me!" He continued as he panicked. "Window." I said before opening it.
He kissed me quickly before climbing out. "I'll see you at school, baby." He said before shifting and running home.
I took a deep breath before walking downstairs. Here goes nothing.
When I got down there, I saw Lucas and my dad at the table.
"Has Sin left yet?" Dad asked. "D-daddy.." I stuttered. "Don't. Your mother said you aren't to see him outside of school. Last night was different because his parents were invited but I sure as hell didn't give that boy permission to go up to your room." He said before slamming his hand on the table. "And I didn't give him fucking permission to sleep with my daughter in her bed!"
I was actually afraid of my dad at this point. He was so angry. "Daddy, his wolf took control and wanted to see me. We fell asleep."
He laughed dryly. "You know his parents think he went for a run? They have a lot of blind faith in that boy."
"Why can't you call him by his name dad?" I asked. "Because I don't like him. I don't want him near you."
"Daddy, he's my mate!" I yelled. "Do not yell at your father, Layla Rae Cross!" His wolf said as he rose to the surface.
My clothes were shredded so I had no choice but to go back home and get more. Which means I had to face my angry dad, and now angry mom. Wonderful.
When I walked in, I wrapped the throw blanket around me and tried to sneak passed my parents. I was late for school, which meant Lucas left without me.
"Get in here!" My mother yelled. Dad didn't look angry when I walked in. He looked hurt.
"What has gotten into you, Layla? What the hell made you tell your father you hate him?" She asked me, causing dad's wolf to whimper slightly.
Mom instantly went to dad's side, nuzzling his neck to calm him. "It's okay." She whispered to him.
"I'm sorry." I whispered. "You're sorry? You've been completely different for months now, Layla. You right with your brother, stop talking to him and Ellie, and now you say you hate your father?"
"But mom.." "But nothing Layla! You've disappointed me." She said. Now she looks hurt and it's dad's turn to comfort her.
"I'm not allowing you to see Sin until your attitude changes." Mom said suddenly.
