Grace frowned, then burst into laughter. “Don’t be so self-righteous. It’s just that you haven’t gotten anything out of it.”

“I’ve heard you’ve been with Mr. Ryan Caldwell for eight years, but those eight years don’t compare to my one month.”

I scoffed, dismissing her remarks. “Is that so?I assume you’re living quite comfortably now. Why don’t you show me your villa next time?”

My question made Grace’s expression shift visibly. I pressed on, “Since Ryan likes you so much, why hasn’t he bought you any decent clothes?”

I deliberately waved the logo on my sleeve in front of her.

Grace’s face turned a shade darker as she clenched her fists, looking like she wanted to tear my clothes apart.

Seeing that she couldn’t snatch them away, I just smiled. “Never seen this before, have you? Here, have a closer look.”

Spending time arguing with Grace wasn’t worth it. I preferred to enjoy the last few days in this world.

While I was soaking in a bath, I received a notification from the game system on my phone:

“Mission progress is complete. Please ensure you end your life by midnight on the 12th of this month and leave the body you are now inhabitating.”
