"I won't let you become that."
"You can't control it!" She cried, tear spilling onto her cheeks. "Nobody can stop me once I go dark."
"Think of your father," I grabbed her. "his last hope for you is to not lose yourself. Imagine how he'd feel if you gave up too easily. Better yet, do it for yourself. Your the only who doesn't want to see yourself go dark the most. Don't let it control you. Prove it to yourself that you can and will come back. And if that doesn't work, then do it for me. Come back for me. Come back to our future, our family, cause I swear Hanna, I'll pull it out if you if I have to."
"I thought you said you'll still love me if I was evil."
"True. But I wouldn't have to keep watch to make sure you weren't trying to kill me."
"I wouldn't kill you."
"True." I brushed her cheek. "I'm too valuable to your life."
She smiled. "How valuable?"
My hands snaked around her waist and tightened her against me. My lips found her neck and lightly went to work on the claim I put on her. Her breaths reached my ears in short, soft, sweet sighs, and it took all I had in me to keep the fur from bursting through my flesh.
My hand trailed up to her neck and I swiftly pulled the zipper on her dress. Her face quickly became parallel to mine, merely centimeters apart, her eyes a similar shade of red to my own. As her finger tightened into my shoulders, a breath escaped her subtly parted lips. There were two words that came to mind in seeing her like this:
Fucking Beautiful.
"I'll show you just how valuable."
My fingers met at the front of her dress and ripped it in half. My hands teasingly trailed down her sides and rested at her hips.
"I hope that wasn't expensive."
Her hands fell to my shirt and ripped it from my body.
"I hope yours wasn't too." she smirked.
She smirked
Like a trance induced boy, I allowed her to pull me out to the water. Suddenly, a thought occurred to me and I stopped to stripped out of my pants before it was too late. I met her right where the shallow waters ended, and for a while, we just stared at one another.
This girl in front the of me...this woman...she got me pretty damn good.
Hanna Greenbay, you will be the death of me.
I gripped her waist. "Don't get ahead of yourself, pretty lady, I said man, not wolf."
"What's the difference? They both act like-"
"Don't you dare finish that sentence!" I narrowed my eyes into silts.
She smirked. "Dogs."
"I...I can't believe...you just said that...I..." I stared into her eyes long and hard, taking her wrists. "You know what this means, right? You. Must. Pay."
"A what may the price be?"
I kissed her neck. "To have just one more taste."
"And what makes you think I'll let you?"
"If you didn't want me to, I wouldn't be touching you."
