I suddenly felt a release to my limbs and looked to them. The ropes were gone.

"What are you doing?" I asked her.

"The Master said I should get you cleaned up before he gets back."

I didn't have to ask to know who she was referring to as 'Master.'

"Why do you call him that?" I scowled.

"It wasn't my choice." she frowned. "I was forced to call him that or I had to face the consequences."

I didn't even bother asking what those consequences were because I really didn't want to know.

"What's your name by the way?"

"Katelynn."

"Katelynn..." I tried the name. "My name's-"

"Hanna." she cut in. "Everyone knows who you are."

"Oh." I solely say.

"C'mon," she said, after a while. "Let's get you to the showers."

As soon as the warm water hit my body, I felt my muscles soothe. Even though I winced at every slight movement, it needed to be done. I washed all the dried blood from my body and watched in horror as it goes down the drain.

What the hell am I going to do? How the hell did my life get so messed up? I bet if my mother hadn't left, then things would be different. Even though I've never met her, I knew my life would be different. It had to be. I would have someone taking care of me than the other way around. But I guess that's life for you. Shit happens.

"And that is why you need to be here!" I laughed. "You got floored by your own girlfriend!"

Immediately a very dangerous shade of red crept across both April and Ethan cheeks, and Scott and Devin had a hard time getting their laughing under control.

"Girlfriend?" April quirked an eyebrow.

"I-I did not tell them that! I swear!" Ethan blocked his face this his hand and tried his best to back away from her.

"Well, they must have got that from somewhere! We'll just see if I'll be your girlfriend when I'm done with you!"

My eyes widened in shock when she lunged at him. She was always a rough one. Scott and Devin resort to encouraging them while I just stood there, my face indifferent. I just made it easier for him.

She was gonna find out anyway.
