In this standout chapter of the Internet novel New Wolf, Shea introduces new challenges, powerful emotions, and major plot progress that captivate readers from beginning to end.

He lunged at me and brought us both to the ground. Things pretty much went lethal from then on as we both pounded on each. I have to give him credit, though, for a half-breed, he's pretty damn strong.

Eventually, the teachers came and I tried to pull us apart but to no avail. After a few of them got hurt they decided to just call the police. That decision turned to whole thing around because soon were both dragged away in handcuffs.

When we got to the station, all people did was shook their head at me.

Ahh, it's been a while since I've come here.

After they fingerprinted and identified us, we were brought to the same cell I was thrown into every time I came here.

Charlie who had been quiet the entire time was just freaking out. I don't understand him. One minute he's all tough and now he's acting like a little bitch.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" I finally found myself asking.

"We got arrested! We're in prison! I can't handle that kinda life!"

"First of all were in a holding cell," I corrected. "and second, you're a wolf. Even if we go to jail you'll be fine. I've been here many times and those guys are all nothing. If you want to ward them off just change your eye color or bend something humanly impossible. Trust me. It had them running for the hills."

"How many time have you been there?" he asked.

"I lost count."

He groaned. "This all my fault! My mom's gonna kill me!"

"Hell yeah, this is your fault!"

"She came crying to me about how Jessica treated her and I got mad. I wasn't gonna not do anything thing."

"You could have."

"If it was your mate I'm sure you would have done the same."

"What!"

Wait, hold up. Angela is his mate? What the hell? No wonder she 'changed' and was acting all weird. Oh god!

"Yes. I guess you were right about the human and wolf thing. But we're getting off track. Jessica shouldn't have said that."

"Do you even know what happened?" I asked, not really sure if he knew that Angela was wrong in this situation.

"Not really. She just told me that something bad happened betweenthem in the past but she never told me what."

"You have no idea how messed up it was, do you?"

"What do you mean?"

"I don't think I should be the one to tell. You should probably ask her again and make sure she tells you everything. You might get why there's so much tension between her and us."

I just stared in awe as I looked around Nichole's room. Even though I've been here for so long I've never seen her room before. She always came to mine.

I was looking around as she went on about Sage and Charlie. And boy did she talk fast.

"I can't believe they got arrested! Really? They could have just fought in the forest like any other hothead wolf."

Stella, Jess and I laughed as Nichole ranted about the air that consumed their heads causing the stupidity.

"I mean I knew Sage was an idiot but what if any of them got so mad that they shifted in front of everyone. Dad would've had both their asses on the chopping block."

"You should have seen the way Charlie was defending Angela," I said as I look among the pictures on her wall.

"He's probably her new boy toy," Stella said.

"He's probably smashing her.," Jess stated. I turned to look at her to see her upper half hanging from Nichole's bed. "What? It's true!"

I just my rolled eyes at her and returned to scouring Nichole's gallery. Suddenly a specific photo caught my attention.

"What?" I turned to her in disbelief. "You met Aaron Shovenfield! He's like the sexiest guy in the world!" I yelled. Aaron Shovenfield is one of those people that are famous for being rich. He owns a large chain of banks and could practically take over the world if he wanted to. I'm sure every girl in the world wouldn't mind his dictatorship.

"I know right!" she squealed. "That was the only time I was glad they made me collect our luggage. It was the best day of my life."
