"Oh my gosh I'm so jealous!"

"It is to be expected. Stella, Jess and Taylor were."

"Speaking of which, what happened to her?"

"Who?"

"Tay-" I was cut off by the doorbell ringing. Nichole sighed and took out twenty bucks from her purse.

"It's probably the pizza guy." she said.

"Food!" Stella and Jess yelled in a union. They bolted out the room and then downstairs. I swear, I thought I heard the chairs being drawn out from the table.

"And now you know why they always come to my house," Nichole said.

I followed her downstairs to meet the pizza guy who kept ringing the damn doorbell like he owned it.

When we finally opened the door, the person we saw was not the delivery man at all. It was Taylor.

I guess I spoke too soon.

"Hey guys!" she greeted. "I haven't seen you in forever! Thanks for calling me nonstop when I was in Paris! I had no idea you cared that much!"

"Oh my god Taylor!" Nichole screamed.

"Damn right it's me," she muttered, marching through the door. "I can't believe you guys forgot about me! Seriously? I knew I still wouldn't have answered your calls because of all the hot guys around but still! At least I'd knew you care!"

"Is that Taylor?" I heard Jess from the kitchen. Taylor made a U-turn at this and headed for that very location. We got their right behind her to see Stella and Jess ready to jump out the window.

"Taylor! Hey!" Stella nervously greeted.

"We were just, um, going for a run," Jess said.

"Yeah! A run!" Stella agreed.

"Okay, first of all, I know you guys are lying, and second, you're not a wolf Jess," Taylor said.

"So! I can still go for runs, though!"

"Actually, we haven't told them yet. We're doing it tonight so please sleep over because I know it's gonna get ugly!" Nichole pleaded.

"I guess since I'm they only one around here that knows how to keep the peace. It's a wonder how you all survived without me."

Sage POV

I stared into the darkness of my cell. I'm not sure what time it was but I'm pretty sure it's late. Manny left a long while ago for his break so he won't be back for awhile. Charlie wasn't asleep, he was still sitting in his corner just like had been earlier.

"I've been thinking," he said. "what's Hanna like?"

I perked up at this. Why does he want to know about my mate?

"Why?"

"I just wanted to know. Curiosity I guess."

Lame excuse but okay.

"For starters, she's a tough one. You have no idea how long it took to crack that. Stubborn as hell too. But she's smart, beautiful, and doesn't take anyone's shit. She can hold her own in a fight, I witness that for myself. And that mouth of hers, damn, she just let that thing run free. She's kinda hard to read sometimes because doesn't want anyone to know when she has problems. And she's a lot of fun, but never get her drunk because you will regret it the next day. So I guess she's pretty much all the things I look for in a woman. She's perfect."
