"Sounds like you really care about her."

"I do. She gave me something to pursue and I'll probably die if anything happened to her."

"Good. I'm glad to see she's in good hands."

And who the hell are you?

"What do you mean good hands? Why are you asking these things?"

"I just wanted to make sure she was okay."

Why do you care?

"You sound like you care for her."

"I do."

I frowned."Why?"

He smiled sadly. "I can't tell you."

I scoffed at this. "Really?"

"Yes. I know that if I tell you, there is no guarantee that you won't tell her."

"If you care about her as much as you say you do, then tell me."

He stared at me, and I was just about sure he was ready to disappear on the spot. He ran and had through his hair and sighed, looking at me stiffly as before.

"Do I have your word that you won't say anything?"

"I swear on my title."

He sighed. "It's because she's my sister."

Sage POV

Utterly confused.

This is how I felt at the moment. Charlie has just revealed to me that he and Hanna were related, and I, have a very hard time figuring this out in my head.

How could he be her brother in any possible way?

"Your sister?" I voiced.

"Yes." he answered, so confidently.

"Okay, um," I rubbed my face. "how? I think the fact that you're a wolf and she's not, is making this harder to believe."

She never said anything about having a brother and I'm sure she was not aware of one. I mean, they kind of have the same eyes and facial structures but that doesn't prove anything! Anyone could resemble each other.

Who's not to say he only joined the pack just to get to Hanna?

Opposing packs would want to destroy the future of mine seeing that it's next Luna was a human.

This day just keeps getting crazier. As if the past couple of weeks haven't been hell enough. First the whole Jason thing and now her mom's back?

What else could happen?

"Remember," he continued. "you can't tell her any of this. I wasn't even supposed to tell you."

"Why can't I tell her? I mean, this could really help her-"

"No! She doesn't even know that Hanna's here. The only reasons I know is because she looks just like my mother. I never told her we went to the same school because knew she'd pull me out."

"Why?"

"That's what I said. She never gave me an answer. But you can't tell her Sage, please keep this between us." he pled.

I thought it over. Should I really keep this from her? Wouldn't she have a lot of questions waiting to be answered?

But, on the other hand, she could hate her mother, and most likely will hate me for letting her back in her life. I guess it's a fifty-fifty shot.

"Fine," I concluded. "But if you slip up, I'm not covering for you, because I said to tell her."

"I won't slip up." He reassured.

Hanna POV

"That was just awful." I sighed, plopping down on my bed. Taylor, Jess, Stella and Katelynn piled into the room after me. Nichole had called Katelynn over for support, resulting in her finding out about the baby also. Everything was going great and were all coming up with baby names and painting our nails; but when Nichole's parents came home, it was time to call the family meeting. Later on that night she called Scott over and we all were seated in the living room waiting for the words to come out. I knew it wasn't me that was pregnant but damn, I was so freaking nervous the entire time.
